The best Night Lords conversion kits, bits and proxies

How would you recommend including abaddon in a night lords army? Make him like konrad or just add skin, wings and flesh to him? Thanks and good video.

You could make him your daemon prince if you don't want to have any actual daemons in your army! Just make him stand a bit higher with some rocks on the base. Add a jump pack or wings and a second claw and you'll have a brutal Night Lords daemon prince.

The Ashe Waste Nomads also work greatly as Nightlord Cultists, i made their cloaks look like a bunch of skin sewed together with white gasmasks and red eyes

That's a brilliant idea. Just paint them as if they are wearing skin. I always saw them more as Nurgle cultists with those rags and gas masks, but Night Lords is definitely a good option too.

You have to be quick! I was just doing research for another bits video and I found out the marauders box is already removed from the warhammer.com website. Get them now from an online retailer or you will be too late.

Surprisingly, the old kit for kroot has some good options. From hooks and flesh/bones, to even flensing knives. Can use the other bits as body parts and trophies! Good video 👌 Ave dominus nox!

1:53 This upgrade sprue, although from the 90’s and designed for the old CSM, fit the modern MkVI Horus Heresy kit really well from what I’ve found. On another note the “Night Lords Hero” mini wasn’t mentioned in the existing NL minis section of the video.

I believe it was the Chaos 3rd edition codex that had an art piece showing two night lords, one a sorcerer who looked emancipated next to his brother marine the female vampire could be a good starting place for that sorcerer.

Very late to the party, but I think that Ushoran, The Mortarch of Delusion, would make an amazing Night Lords Daemon Prince. He'd take a fair amount of converting, but the end result would be stunning.

warp talon wings have tha claw-pincer thing on their upper part . if you cut the of you can put them on helmets as small wingh . some of the are kinda wing shaped . like corrupted wings

I did a Fabius conversion put wings on a helmet and made is needle rack a skin rack

picked up 3 sets of the marauder box and some of the killteam items like the 2 hander chain weapon and 2 prong claws. Finished my pile of shame down to zero and always wanted a nightlords army after reading some of the books relating to them. I plan to get both the chaos battleforce boxes this weekend....if i can keep the scalpers away.

I can confirm Crypt Horrors convert well into Spawn. Even if you aren't doing Night Lords, I'd recommend 1 box of Spawn for bits and fill in the rest of what you would ever need/want with Crypt Horros and the left over Spawn bits.

The bats from cursed city are great for adding wings to chaos helmets and if you know necromunda players cawdor has some decent glances. Not sure on the blood bowl vampire team but they look like they have some decent bits.

I completely forgot about cursed city! That box is full of great bits for Night Lords. Bats, but also some of the monsters I mentioned separately. Plus great little markers for once per game abilities etc. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm rather new to Warhammer, I got the Night Lords Killteam from my wife for Christmas. As far as I read about it theyre rather uncorrupted by chaos, not much mutations and such. Would it really fit to give them real wings and mutated units or skeletal stuff? 🤔

Welcome to the hobby mate! Happy to have you on board, it's an amazing world to get into. Warhammer lore is written in such a way that everything exists and everything is possible, but not everything is canon. For example: There are a billion planets. Each with their own type of Astra Militarum regiment. So you can make whatever guard regiment you like and go wild with your hobby and it will fit in the setting and the lore. But your army is not canon, because it doesn't show up in any of the books. The same goes for space marines. So the question isn't "Should they have mutations and wings?" the question is "Could there be a Nightlords warband that embraces the chaos gifts and is full of mutations and wings?" And for me the answer is 100% yes and it's easy to fit that into the existing lore. Maybe they spent too much time in the warp, maybe they found some amazing artifact weapons that tainted them, maybe they slaughter in ways that got the attention of Slaanesh, maybe their leader is a chaos fanatic. There are so many ways you can make this fit in the lore. Go wild and fuck up existing canon, or don't and stick with what is canon. They are your minis and don't let other people tell you how to have fun with your hobby.

Okay that is true, had honestly forgotten although I've read about that many worlds aren't even well connected and there could be hundreds of different Marines unknown on farther planets. Of for Necrons that there could be sleeping ones with unknown colors etc 🙈. I did stay relatively close to base night Lord colors as I love the dark theme and the lightnings (painted the ones I've that far already with glow in the dark colors for the eyes and lightnings) and I really love the general look of the Night Lords. Also plan to buy the book with 3 books in one 🙈

@@stuffandthings617 yeah, exactly! Everything exists. There are even 2 lost space marine legions that no one knows anything about. That means 2 primarchs that are possibly somewhere in the universe. But really, if you like the classic unmutated Nightlords, go for it! I myself have a Death Guard army, because I like them exactly as they come out of the box. No conversions needed. There really is no right or wrong in this hobby.
