Finally!! A homemade banana pudding recipe on KZbin that doesn’t use use banana pudding flavored Jello but makes homemade custard with tempered eggs, milk, sugar, and flour!! I realize that tempering eggs and keeping them at a low temperature so that they don’t become solid in the mixture may be difficult or time consuming and using instant Jello mix is easier. Banana pudding with instant Jello is good but it is 1000% better with a homemade custard and I am so glad you uploaded this recipe.

Brings back so many good memories. My mom taught me how to make it the same way all the way down to the crushed cookies on top. My mom had a special glass dish she would make it in and when I seen that dish sitting out I knew what was going down later that day😊 I love it but my husband and kids really don't care for it so I don't make it that often but I do manage to make me some every year on her birthday which is Christmas Day ❤TFS

I was very young when my Mom passed and I don't recall flour being used (had to have something to mix with that milk lol) and could be she used it and I do remember her using carnation milk however, it was bomb. I wonder did I miss tha flour part lol and that PEAK just makes me smile. Youngsters these days use pudding and no bananas, I just SMH
