Caesar can't negate the Centurions in the backrow. Those are Trap effects but Caesar can only negate Trap Card activations.

Caesar negates the activation of the card. Because the centurion cards are already face-up, they are using their effects on field to summon. It's considered a card effect activation, not a card activation

One mistake notice people are making in Centurion is they aren't playing Synchro Rumble. Why you want to play it is in those turns you aren't hit by Fuwalos you can play through your opponents Nibiru by making Primus and synchro climbing into Crimson Dragon to search for Synchro Rumble. Synchro Rumble can special summon Atri. Which is a tuner that can be treated as a non-tuner you can use to help build back your board with Primus.

u can play around nib in end phase anyway with trap and field spell effect, no need to put brick in your deck

@@farhanizzuddin6658 I can see your point but it helps you play through hand traps, its useful going 2nd and it lets you setup double Cosmic Blazar so the opponent can't play without stripping my monsters ability to interact with my opponent with cards like Dark Ruler No More. From a competitive stand point why wouldn't I want to play a 1 of that can allow me to force my way to a immediate win if I have space for 20+ non-engine and my opponent doesn't have the Fuwalos. My point is that it might seem unnecessary but why would I want to play it like a grindy deck if its now got the tools so it doesn't have to grind games out anymore than 2 of my turns and I can spend more of that time annihilating the competition. If I see a way to break down decks as powerful as Snake-Eye variants, Yubel, and Tenpai with decks like Centurion with ease I will take it. I'm very experienced and ruthless and my style of play spares no one. Why would I give my opponent a chance to win when I know that they are prepared to treat me the same way if I let them.

@@jsahm38 Why wouldn't I want to play a 1 of that can offer me the ability to not need engines and to bust through decks like Yubel and Snake-Eyes variants with greater ease. It offers the ability to finish the game fast and with everything I need on board I don't have to rely on a 1 of trap card as my only other interruption I've got going first. Its much more stable and less die roll dependent approach to rely on monsters that can be used again and again. I'm several times more likely to win with any deck if I don't have to rely on my ability to draw non-engine for negates number 2, 3, and 4 and I already have them.

@@jacobwoodard818 if you get dark ruler no more, when cosmic blazer on the field you win the game, not to mention u can make 2nd cosmic after dark ruler came down. synchro rumble doesn't play around hand trap, if opponent have hand trap you couldn't synchro at all, also it locked u off s:p plays when which is important. if u want to play it fine, its just a bad card.

Double Blazar is so hilariously dumb. So is how crazy Blazar gets under Skill Drain. But Crimson Dragon is the main culprit to all that madness, Dragunity, Speedroids and Stardust have lines to make the thing that don't even NEED Crimson Dragon to pull it off(though some of those are stupidly complicated to run).

Caesar negate the activation of spells and trans or moster effect…it means that he cant negate the eff of a spell or trap that is already on field (like contin spells, field spells etc…). Remember that centurions are considerate traps white face up in st zone

because Caesar negates the activation of Spell/Trap cards and the Centur-Ion monsters while on backrow are activating their Continuous Trap effects. TLDR: If Caesar said "when a card or effect, is activated that includes and effect that Special Summons a monster(s)" then it would have worked

Round one game 3 has an illegal play. After emblema resolved he went on to synchro summon a non-centru ion monster. Emblema locks you into only synchro centur ion monsters.
