Claudette and Dutch were the backbone of the show.. Vic and the Strike Team were the heart of course but without Claudette it would’ve have been as great as it was. CCH Pounder makes everything she’s in great.

Yeah this is mostly season one when Claudette was of the "lesser of two evils" philosophy. Her character is way better after season 2 when she doesn't care what "good" cops like Mackey are doing and just wants to get rid of all the corruption in the Police Department no matter how many enemies she acquires along the way.
