A tribute to Daniel Craig - no other actor has committed to the role as much as Craig has over the past 15 years. He succeeded in making his portrayal of James Bond truly his own. A legacy that will last forever on screen. We thank you. Daniel. You're the GOAT

Easily the best Bond as he 'humanised' the character - we've seen at times, an emotional vulnerability to Bond in Daniel's films that in my opinion, his predecessors wouldn't have managed to pull off in the role. Only Connery can lay any claim to being in the same class as an actor. Barbara Brocolli deserves huge respect for having the vision to see what he could bring to the role. Her husband would have been very proud.

Ugly Duckling is what I always think of Daniel. Metaphorically speaking. He went from the worst possible choice for a Bond, to the absolute best ever. In a matter of minutes. And I don't say this lightly, because I grew up with Roger, also really liked Sean and Pierce. Looking back. The stories and productions have become better as well. Daniels 1,3,4 are among the five best Bond movies ever. The other two are The spy who loved me and Moonraker.

While the final Bond movie with Daniel was imo, not the greatest; I do think he'll stand the test of time and go down as one of the best Bonds. I know the classics are better to some, but I just think Craig did Bond such justice man. He encorporated the badassery that is Bond with the charm, witty womanising personality so damn well. He also did the flaws better than most, adding in the fact that Bond had to battle through alcoholism and I suppose a form of depression after Vespa died. 10/10 Bond and will always be the new standard for me. I don't see him being outdone for a long, long time. He's left MASSIVE shoes to fill for that role.

I was in Casino Royale with some ladys to watch it. They all had a crush on Daniel Craig. Even my sister. I think thats why the 5 movies made such good money. Because CRAIG does it for the ladys. Men are by nature BOND viewers. And the casting in ALL movies was very, very good. Judy Dench is so cool. In the 4 th one. Where she is a bit like his " mother" and ashronishing strong boss Lady of MI 5. That is my favourite one. And I am happy for Miss Dench that she has had so big part of the success. She reminds me of my mother. Very much. She raised 3 kids. Allone. And was a boss of big company too. My mum. She was a force of nature. Best in live what happend to me. And I partly had a very satisfing life. And best start a boy could ask for.

Good for him to point out the racist implications of the statement that people in remote locations don't have televisions. Old Europeans, especially Brits, like Graham have this residual, racist image of Africa (or "Timbuktu," as they like to reduce an entire continent) from the selective footage of war-torn images they saw on 1980s TV like Live Aid.
@Hoganply3 жыл бұрын
To be fair, in many rural places around the world, including some places in Africa, it's true that their infrastructure is poor enough that they can't get proper reception. In any case, I don't quite understand how not having an up-to-date geopolitical understanding is necessarily racist, but ok.
@scottwilson48183 жыл бұрын
How is it racist, you over-sensitive sausage? I've been to places that often have no proper electricity, let alone televisions.
@holitipu3 жыл бұрын
That s a bit uncalled for. 1. The footage that Live Aid used was genuine news. The whole idea , a new one at the time, was to appeal to the humanity in people to raise funds. 2. Graham is Irish not British 3. He s not old ...in his 50s 4. It s a naive not racist statement that he s made. I lived in a country (Guyana ) that, when I left it in 1976, had never had television. I believe a government run station was set up in the 80s. .

Just picking up on Graham's "village in Timbuktu" comment. No disrespect to Graham, it is a common misconception in Western popular culture that Timbuktu is a mythical/remote/rural region in Africa. Timbuktu is actually a sizeable city in what is now Mali. It has existed since at least the middle ages, had reached a population of over 50,000 by the 1500's (comparable to population of London at that time), has been a centre of trade and learning for centuries, with a university established around its famous mosques, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So whilst it is certainly very remote for people outside Saharan Africa (including me), which has no doubt contributed to its mythical reputation, it has along history as an important and distinguished urban centre of religion, learning and commerce.
