When characters are this iconic, people in the general population tend to practice mimicking their voices more then they would more esoteric ones for goofs. Christopher Cervantes Song of the South and the Crows they used in old Animated Dumbo movie which they carefully removed in the remake live action version. Disney has to hide it’s racism these days since they have had plenty of black actors run through the Disney mill. 0:42 Well, what I could probably say about Mickey’s statement is that Pluto is a pet dog, thus making him canonically an actual animal in the Mickey Mouse series. Goofy is an anthropomorphic dog in the same series, and because of that, he’s not exactly a real animal. I’ve seen a Game Theory about Animal Crossing, and MatPat’s claim was that the villagers were not exactly animals, and I agree with that. The best claim I could put here is that Goofy is a dog, but only by character design, but Pluto, due to him being a pet, is considered a real animal only in the series. That is my theory.
