My 8th Great Grandfather was the first Immigrant to live on Edisto Island (1682). It's a magical Island for sure. Great Video!

I go there every summer in ly and I j just love it there! My nanny has been a member there for a very long time! I've had a lot of memories there!

My favorite place to eat is at the Sea Cow. Good food. good price.Located on jungle road. Yes I was at the Edisto Beach State Park. Go to the million dollar Interpretive Center. Shows all kinds of bones, fossils, plant and animal life on the island. Go to Botany Bay Plantation and beach. It is public and a nice hiking/biking trail to the beach. Bike or walk the path from Live Oak camping area to the Interpretive Center. Stop along the path to see the Indian Mound.

Jeremy inlet 1 mile north of Edisto beach state park. Follwo the shoreline. Also steamboat landing pier or dahoo bridge pier.

I recognize the video clip. I saw the video not long ago. I have caught some nice sized sharks at Edisto too right where people swim.

Well hi there! I get to go camp there in site 12 for one week starting a week from today. How long ago were you a ranger there? I probably saw you since I have been going there for years.

Anyone know if you need a fishing license or permit to do surf fishing or shrimping on the beaches or inlets? Don't want to piss someone off while getting dinner! Any info is much appreciated. Awesome video as well. Peace!

You need a saltwater fishing license. $10.

Going to Edisto soon. Just can't stay away. Love the place. Got my salt water fishing license and a site with a sea breeze. Met many people who have seen this video. I've been chewed out for posting this video and drawing others to this great place but it seems only fair others should have the experience too! :)
