Thank you for sharing your time at Edisto Beach, SC. My husband and I lived in little river, SC which is close to NMB, SC for over 20 years. I do miss the beach. We live in Burlington, NC now to close to one of our sons' for health reasons for both myself and husband. Nice condo. I hope you and your family are having a great time. Enjoy and have fun and rest. What a beautiful spot! I’m here in the Arizona desert and the beach sounds so lovely. I would of wanted to play bingo too but I don’t do crowds. I’m sorry your sweet pup is gone. I’ve been dealing with grief for 3 years that has at times been crippling. Maybe when you’re ready you will rescue again. That’s such a wonderful thing to do. I rescued 2 Great Pyrenees sisters after I lost my girl Georgia about 6 months ago. They have helped with the grief of her but they’ve also helped with my grief over my sons passing. Then someone left a wet little naughty kitten in my street. She’s joined the pack! She’s about 2 months now. Life brings along the perfect one when you need them most. Much love to you. Awe Elise, this was fun. I could almost smell the beach air . One thing i really miss are the coastal towns in Ca. Carmel-by-sea and Pacific Grove were the nearest quaint places i lived by. I have not adventured out of this area in TN where i am now residing. But, i know i would enjoy visiting that small community in S Carolina. Edisto looks WONDERFUL! Chad and I love going to the beach on vacation and we love the smaller, less touristy places. We're also looking to move closer to the ocean and I'm going to have to tell him about Edisto Island! We went to Destin, FL last year and it was just way too much...the beach was packed, there were golf carts everywhere, tons of touristy stores..not our kind of place. We prefer places like Venice, FL, or Engelwood, FL...thank you so much for sharing this!

Thank you, Elise. Simple, “boring”, “everyday life” suits me just fine! Too many people become dissatisfied with what they HAVE and want MORE. Yet, what we have NOW is usually all we need. I’m happy that I have clean water, electricity, and communication devices. A grocery store across the street, an ice cream parlor and yarn store downstairs in my building, and other things like that are what make my life RICH! Your talk about BINGO NIGHT made me remember a visit back to my home city, years ago, where my family was going BOWLING for excitement during a summer day! I had jokingly said to my then-partner, as we were driving into the city, that I figured that bowling would be our excitement on our holiday. Turns out I was prophetic! 😉 Your scenery and comments are delightful. Thanks for taking us along with you!

Haha!! My grandmother was an avid bowler and would even watch it on TV!! 🎳 And you're so right, most of us have everything we need (and a lot of what we want) right in front of us. We just have to have the eyes to see all the good around us. 🌴🌊🧶

OMGosh! Loved everything about this! Love Olive, she is exactly like our late Noodles (I think they’re a Russian Blue?) I have to ask.How in the world do you secure your ends,when changing colors? I made a nice granny square pillow.Lots of color change,just like this one and after i wash it,all the ends show.It didnt come apart,they just come out.You know what I mean?😇Thanks in advance.I am loving your videos.

Oh no!!! Many times I will tie those two ends together at a color change so that they won't pull out! ❤️❤️❤️

@@theapeppers8927 I should have clarified, if I'm worried about the color changes pulling out, I will tie them together and then weave in the ends really really well, by going back and forth in lots of different directions. Short tails typically pop out. Hope that helps!
