Eubank conducted himself in a dignified and educated manner in this interview far superior than his counterpart. He wasnt ARROGANT he was a showman, it made him money and he was honest about his profession, he was in it for the money. A total legend!

@@Ali-sv5sg Eubank beat Benn who beat The "G" man who was going to be the next big thing in boxing ; who was himself in my opinion one of the best ever.. We don't give a shit about America !! America isn't the only land of boxing in the world, Great Britain with Ireland, Mexico, Porto Rico, Russia and Eastern Euro country's like Kazakhstan and Ukraine along with some other country's like Cuba or Argentina did have great fighters too and are highly involved in boxing.. America is the "Mecqua" of boxing yes but you don't need to win there to be a Legend of the sport.

My favourite bit in this clip is when Ross picks on the guy in the audience for his broken nose. The guy is clearly really uncomfortable with it and Nigel Benn switches it up by paying him a compliment.

Hilarious and fascinating watching this back. Did Tessa just compare the injuries of throwing javelins to boxing? Idiot. Eubank was spot on with his response. And the irony of someone saying that Eubank was not fun! He was one of the last entertaining boxing personalities we have had.

People look back on his career with rose tinted glasses tho, he could stink the place out often and got quite a few gifts
@thehh51185 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing it was very unusual for people (expect for many boxers in the business) back then to see how he acted in the ring compared to outside the ring, so people thought he was the same egotistical performer in the ring without understanding that it's not representative of the man we're seeing in this video. So there's a lot of judgmental and suggestive questions and answers about him here, which is kind of frustrating to look back on now.

Eubank understood marketing himself. Floyd Mayweather has made MILLIONS of dollars by making himself "the bad guy" who everyone wanted to see lose. Eubank was the same way back then, as a person he is a class act and many of the things he is saying is simply him putting on a show.
