It’s kinda crazy how none of them take accountability for what they’ve done. Mrs. Galloway has been just as bad. They all have been just as bad and unprofessional. Councilman Mayes and Mrs. Burns are really the true voices of Flint council that have shown accountability and integrity. No one there can respect the fact that those two are people that don’t go along to get along. It’s clear that they stand on a principle, even if they make a decision that I myself wouldn’t agree with. To hear them paint a narrative where they hypocritically vilify is wild.

There have been many complaints about his impartiality, and particularly his denigration of Mays, Winfrey-Carter, and Burns. Paul has also been criticized for monetizing people’s interest in the council. For example, he disabled the ability to comment during a meeting and created a subscription based chat instead. He also apparently became intrusive in trying to capture people he thought were about to go off, which spoke more to his desire to make money off the council rather than simply provide access to the meeting. I’ve heard that his contract has not been renewed.
