I know Phelps is the all round complete swimmer, but nothing compares to Thorpe’s freestyle. Magnificent

I could watch him swim all day. I wish they make a movie about swimming and he'd be the starring character. call it THE BLACK SHARK

I have never seen a more graceful swimmer, he was calm under pressure too. The public don't see how hard all these athletes train, to get to the Olympics, getting up at some awful early hour and pushing themselves beyond endurance, to get a medal. I admire every single one of them, and miss seeing Ian in the pool!! 🤗🤗🤗

Ian Thorpe is awesome. He may have failed in his bid for London, but he's already declared that he will keep swimming and his next goal is Worlds 2013. Go Thorpey!

Hi, Thanks for the amazing video. I am a big fan of Ian Thorpe. Can you tell me the name of the music track track that you have used from 1:16 to 1:24 ? I have heard and loved that music long ago, but I can't remember what was it's name. I am also a big fan of Ian Thorpe :)))

It's funny seeing the Yamaha sign in the background at 5.10 as that's the motor at the end of his legs. :)
