Gosh, and there have been a number of recent Blue Lagoon closings due to volcanic activity. How lush and lovely that lagoon is! And Iceland! No mosquitos, crystalline drinking water, all those waterfalls. What an enchanted place. Thanks for the virtual vacay.

Fantastic voyage! Are there enough water closets along the way? I am an older person and always think about that during road trips!

Yes about every 30 min you will run into a town or a place with water closets.

I went at the very end of winter several years ago to Black Diamond Beach and it had tons of pieces of ice all over it. Numerous pieces were so large you could sit on them for photos.
