I didn’t know the uni ball I had was such a good pen💀 When I went to Thailand I waked straight to a stationary shop, and that pen caught my eye because it looked really cool (just collecting cool pens). I had a major discovery moment when I realised that pen’s ink, compared to other pens, didn’t reflect sunlight at the specific angle, and it also didn’t smudge as much on plastic paper surfaces. So I never used it ever again lmfao, saving it for special circumstances. Now I know it actually won an award lmfao

the mattehop gel pens are some of the most pigmented pens I've used with great payout, but they clog up too easily and end up scratching off the ink from paper- they need upkeep so keep that in mind hah

Watching this video reminds me of getting brand new school supplies. There is a 'je ne sais quoi' happy factor about watching it. WHAT. I have those Hitotoki stickers and had no idea the back peeled off for a full sticker! I thought they were more like a sticky note 🙈 Pretty hard to peel off, though!

I learned a trick for this! Put a piece of tape on the backing so a bit of the tape juts out. (You might want to burnish the tape with your fingernail so it sticks really well.) Now just grasp the bit that's jutting out and peel it back. It should easily peel the backing off along with it. So satisfying

the only thing about those erasable pens, if you live in a hot climate (like Arizona 104F-115F do not leave your notebook in your car or out in the sun, the ink will vanish then too :) They are so fun and the grey and bright peach color are the best ones, their markers are very transparent and fun to use as well.

Gonna need those thick grip pens. My hand does cramp when I write and I have a few thicker pens that I got from Jetpens and really enjoy them, but they stay at home. I want one to bring with me to work for the few times I need to write something.

when you’re signing a contract in japan they remind you not to use a frixxion pen! i’ve heard you can make the text reappear by putting it in the freezer though

@@monicafarrell6684 yes, putting it in the freezer will help the ink reappear, but for some colors it does not reappear at the same intensity. Also, when it reappears, anything you had erased and written over reappears too. So if you wrote an appointment on the calendar, rescheduled it, erased it and moved it to another date, when it reappears you have both dates on your calendar. Or, if you spelled something wrong, erased it and rewrote it, all the writing reappears, which looks like a mess. Yep...speaking from experience. 😂🤣 But I LOVE LOVE LOVE FriXion pens!! and I can't manage the family calendar without them.

The frixion erasable pen is so cool. We had a facilitator pass them around for an activity. When they were leaving we all asked if we could keep the pen or if we had to give it back. Wish it came in a finer point. I prefer .3mm

I love those pens too, but a warning from someone who has had them for about a year: if you get the paper you wrote on hot, they fade, since heat is how the eraser works. I live in the US South and left my notebook in my car...the friction pen ink all faded like someone had erased it.

I'm an Indian living in Japan, for the Indians on a budget, the Apsara Non-Dust works like the Pentel Ain. Though the name is misleading, it serves the same purpose. Also, the only pens I use are frixion (0.7 is the best, if you disagree, you're wrong), I can't stand others...

Uni Kuru Toga Alpha Gel Switch should have gotten a mechanical pencil award. The mighty Kuru Toga Engine, well-thickened Alpha Gel grip (Uni Alpha Gel pens and pencils are amazing, I love Alpha Gel grips), artist and sketcher-friendly Switch function... My favourite, but I couldn't buy it yet. My next stationery purchase will be that pencil. And Pilot Frixion Click series in black, blue and red. 😊

Pentel Energel Clena (with 0.4 needle tip) is amazing. All the greatness that is the Energel in a cool retro look body with the same comfort as a regular silver Energel

I love Pentel gel pens; I’ve used them since I was in junior high in the late 1990s. They used to be easier to find in stores in the US back then. For several years I didn’t find them other than on Amazon, however I have found them in some stores more recently (such as Hobby Lobby). I haven’t found the hybrids yet, however have Milky, Solar, Krazy, and Sparkle. I have some Piolet Frixion pens too.

Have you had trouble with them fading on the paper if the notebook gets warm? I love them so much but I've discovered they fade if I leave the notebook in my hot car or somewhere else in the sun.

@@savannah115 I haven't, but I'm up in the Pacific NW and I never leave my journal in a car (it's either at home or on my person). From what I've heard, you can pop your notebook in a freezer and the faded ink should reappear. I don't know how long it takes, but JetPens has talked about this in their FriXion pen guides on youtube and their website.

My only complaint about frixion pens is that if you live somewhere warm like texas then what you write on pages will fade. Tried to go back over some stuff i wrote a few years ago and the journal was practically blank
