People make tea out of nettles , they eat wild garlic. There are poisonous plants in the woods , but they are not illegal. Cannabis is another plant. These plants don't need clinical trials. The argument is all about Tax and the government worrying they may miss a trick. Certainly it would reduce alcohol use if cannabis was decriminalised , alcohol is far more dangerous. The government needs to answer serious questions about drug classification that includes plants because they are creating an industry by cannabis being illegal.
