“Did he trade for a rifle?”… Man I’m gonna miss this man. Bums me out knowing he’s not out there wondering around freely thinking and interacting with others as truly of an authentic person that you could hope to meet. I’m infinitely jealous of everyone who had the good fortune of meeting and interacting with him. Damn. Go out there and be yourself people, even if it’s a bit weird. Who knows, you might even end up enjoying yourself

If you didn't know who Mike Leach was, then you must not have been a football fan. Any football fan would know who he is.
@michaelginther32982 жыл бұрын
He gave a legendary press conference just a few weeks ago, when his recievers dropped a lot of passes in one game. Look up 'dinosaur hands', or something along those lines. His 'fat girlfriends' talk, was also another good one where he criticizes his players, but does it in such a clever and artful way.

Talk about complete, unfiltered stream-of-consciousness. And always curious about other people. He could--and did--talk to just about anyone about anything, any time. One of a kind and never a dull moment. Going to miss that man.

Ole Miss Rebel fan all my life. Loved "hating" State. It's in our blood - and they feel the same way about Rebel fans! But when Leach got to Starkville I just couldn't "hate" them anymore. Heck I couldn't even root against them. My biggest rival now had my favorite coach. It was almost a spiritual crisis! Man I'm gonna miss him. I was so looking forward to many more years of his awesome interviews and pressers. One of the only coaches that made college football MORE fun.

@Chris Coccagna I'm sorry but he's famous for saying absolutely bizarre stuff and going off the rails in press conferences. He also is famous for going on strange stories about history to rile up his team even though they were mostly just confused. His eccentricity is why he never got a blue blood job
