The thing about honeydew is, if you get it picked ripe from a farm, it's amazing and the sweetest, perfectly soft melon ever; but at the store, they get picked early (and don't ripen once picked) so they transport easier without damage in the trucks and have a longer shelf life. So pretty much every store bought honeydew is underrip and will never ripen. That's why at cheap restaurants they're always hard, white and flavorless.

Dash you should watch The Shining. it's one of my Favorite Horror Films and Jack Nicolson and Shelly Duvall did a great Job in it. I read something that said Jack Nicolson Ate Cheese Sandwiches Before Filming his Scenes. I guess he Hates Cheese Sandwiches but He did this because his Character becomes more and More Unhinged as the Movie goes on.
