Trump divvied his 4 years of annual salary into quarterly disbursements, 16 in all, and each disbursement went to some government agency of his choice, and he never picked the same agency twice. 13 of the 16 quarterly disbursements are documented, the 3 remaining checks not accounted for. Some think that in his last 9 months in office he pulled back and kept it for himself. Maybe for tax purposes? Because even though he donated the money, it still counted as earnings and he was still liable for the taxes.

agree, context makes a _huge_ difference. One of the major differences between the Right and Left in America's political stage is the awareness that context absolutely matters. Context is what dissolves the Right's talking points, and solidifies the Left's. It's something we can and should remain proud of. (although it seems strange that something as simple as applying and considering context would be something to be proud of .. but stranger things have been politicized ...like centuries old proven techniques to combat a contagious worldwide viral respiratory pandemic /digress) A few bytes of data in the form of a date to put this piece in proper context would be incredibly easy to do while reinforcing integrity without taking anything away from the piece overall.
