If he simply wanted to reject the proposal, then he could have said 'I'm not ready for that yet' and discussed it properly. The dad's an asshole for obvious reasons... The friends are assholes for basically trying to coerce him into something he clearly didn't want. Leaving with another woman would also indicate the potential for something weird, as you say, but it's not evidence. She could be his sister for example? My guess is she was family and he got embarrassed as hell because she reversed the role and he ran from the situation.

wow fiinally someone not simping and falling for the trap. Bro I lost my life because of women and I am only 35. The reason they choose later ugly normal men when they feel old and had many dudes in bed is not personality its just they choose to settle down. But not every ugly men. He has to be dumb and naive that she can fake her interest and beleives she is with him because of personality. Society expects men to not show emotions which is just a different society expectation. I think the issue here is largely that the condemnation is focused heavily if not entirely on her, not acknowledging that there were two people involved in this situation. If she was perceived to have had sex too readily, doesn't it logically follow that for that to happen so did he? I am a retired nurse who practiced for nearly 40 yrs. I agree with all the rest, but physiologically, males are not able to tolerate pain as well as women. Yes, many men minimize pain.... until his wife walks in the room...I once had a 6'5" 300 lb. logger of solid muscle. A tree fell on him. He acted tough until his 5'2", 100 lb. wife came into the room. He started crying like a baby. She held him as he pulled her into the bed to cuddle her. She told me I could now give him pain meds. He fell asleep finally. I feel very badly for my 30 y.o. nephew who so wants a decent girl with whom to settle down and have a family.
