I have to say i was quite lucky with this offer. At first i wanted to skip this season because I'm a bb main and not really interested in a tier 7 destroyer. Then i saw the offer for the Alabama and said to myself that i will spend the money this time. As i had no doublons left i had to buy 10000 but received 14000 because of typical additional gold + black season bonus. After buying the Alabama i thought - well, there are 4500 doublons left now, might as well buy the admirality backing. The black crate that i received for free after unlocking the backing contained Iwami B 😂

Could you please do a highlight of the ship? What cmdr to use, and how to be proficient in it. The torpedoes are killing me?

I’m getting through global XP. I’ll save the 40USD for something that can’t (or it’s very hard) be gridded for free. Commanders, other ships not available thru free XP. Last time I used good to get a free ship was with Yugumo, and I regretted that. Good ship, but real Money from now on just for really inaccessible ships or commanders.

That is a whole lot more then the Alabama is worth. Might have been okay some time ago, but those days are long gone. Probably should be down a tier or two. Go ahead and try it and try it in Brawls .. You'll see it doesn't stand up.

45% is not 70% like the coupon 1 or 2 months ago and besides that it is a 750 000 gxp ship and also isn't it weaker or less fun than Georgia which most have because people could buy it(=Georgia) with event coins from the 2500 gold battle pass

with it being a sister ship to Massachusetts, it's still a great ship with its improved richo angles and very accurate guns. just don't brawl with it or it'll hurt more than brawling in a Massa. Georgia is a level of it's own, 457mm guns that are pretty accurate at range, speed boost and decent maneuvering. the armor is lacking as it's easily pen able with 406mm even on angles in some cases. none-the-less Alabama is still worthy of getting and using frequently as it actually goes head to head with Iowa

Save your money and just save gxp if you really want a south dakota. Alabama is just a SLIGHTLY more main battery accurate Massachusetts. The tradeoff is worse secondaries. Nothing special.
