Hi Tatyana! I have noticed that your cakes have a lot of baking powder in them compared to all other cake recipes I've done. I have never seen a cake recipe with more than 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder. What does it do when you add a lot of baking powder? I know it makes the cake higher, but your cakes don't seem to be thicker than other cakes I've made. So, what does so much baking powder do?

Thank you Tatyana, I tried your recipe, it’s delicious. One problem, the frosting became runny after I mixed in the food coloring(jelly form), I wonder why?

I'm so glad you were still able to enjoy the recipe! I'm not sure why the frosting would go runny. It might be from overmixing, not from the food coloring. You can try placing it into the refrigerator if that happens again next time! :)

tatyana can you pls show us how to cook Quarkbällchen (Quark Cheese ball). I tasted this mini ball at a Christmas Market in Germany, I've tried so many recipe, but all recipes resulted with stiffer dough than the one that I tasted. Maybe I've done wrong. But I really wish to cook it for this christmas season. The inside of quark ball should be fluffy and soft but on the outside.. it is golden crisp topped with sugar powder. It is so satisfying but yet very light dessert

Hi Tatyana, I tried this whipped cream frosting yesterday. Once I took the frosting out from the fridge, it started to melt very quickly. The whipped cream couldn't hold the shape at all. My room is 24 celcius. Don't know what I did wrong. Can you please help me?

Oh no! :( I'm so sorry that the frosting didn't work well for you. If you kept it in the fridge for a while, you would need to rewhip it so it's nice and fluffy again.
