Top tip for my natural peanut butter lovers: pour your new jar/tub of peanut butter into your stand mixer and mix (with paddle attachment) on low until oil has combined with PB... then turn the mixer up to med and mix for 3-5 mins. Pour back into jar/tub and you'll never have to mix it again. Magic

I made it tonight. Very good. Surprisingly not sweet at all. Not as peanut buttery as I thought. It’s just enough. Nothing overpowers the other. Frosting is smooth and fluffy. Very good.

If the cake is as amazing as your peanut butter fudge recipe, count me in!! I have made so much fudge the past year for my sons college rugby team. It has become their good luck fudge! I'd like to claim it was the fudge that made them finish 3rd in the NATION last year! But, maybe there was a little rugby skill involved as well!! I topped the fudge with all kinds of toppings...crushed potato chips,Heath bars, cashews, dark chocolate, banana chips,granola... Was incredible! Even had a huge order for the fudge for a hospital Christmas function that had over 200 guests!!!. Cant wait to try the cake out! Will be incredible, Im sure. Ohhhhhhhh my! Will definitely make this one but make only HALF the icing. I was instructed to take my Vit D3 with fat and have been eating peanut butter n crackers - this will be much better! Thinks I'll pass it on to both my doctor and pharmacist to share with those who have difficulty with absorbing Vit D3.

I made this tonight with some modifications. I used 1/2 the amount of sugar w/a Substitute (Stevia w/Cane Sugar), I used Reeses Zero Sugar peanut butter chips instead of the peanut butter, I used no sugar almond milk in place of regular milk, I used a reduced sodium salt, and I used a gluten free almond flour. This made it healthier and more in line our family's diet while satisfying our sweet tooths. I couldn't believe how moist it was, and it tasted very good for using the special ingredients. We used zero sugar Coolwhip in lieu of frosting. Next time I hope to make a modified sugar free frosting. Thanks so much for this recipe!

I take natural peanut butter and empty it into a bowl, then mix it up with a hand mixer to blend it together. If I don’t use it for a week or two it will start to separate, but daily use keeps it mixed. And yes, I put it back in the jar

Hi! I'm curious why you use water instead of a dairy in the PB/butter mixture? Could milk or buttermilk make the cake even more tender because of the additional fat, and maybe even fluffier, since you're using baking soda for leavening?
