Whoever chose that as Missouri’s best pizza was literally high. I’ve lived in St. Louis for 5 years, and I can tell you, the best pizza in the state is Melo’s Pizzaria. It’s only open for 3 hours on 3 separate days, and there are only two tables to sit at inside, but it is SOOOO worth it. I’ve had countless pizzas in New York and Chicago, and it might top them all. It’s so surprising. *Note* Be ready to wait up to an hour for a pizza, as they’re usually busy.

Honestly for Michigan(I'm a Michigander myself), I thought they would say Vitalles or Pizza Ranch to be honest. Pizza Ranch's stuffed crust is to die for and the garlic seasoning they put on the crust just brings it all together.(I can't say much for Vitalle's as I've only had it once, but my dad loves that place)

New Mexicos best pizza restaurant is a fairly sized company only in NM called Dions. They are so good, and everyone i know who has moved out really misses that place. They also have great Subs and Ranch almost as heavenly as Chick Fil-A sauce. If you ever visit Albuquerque or somewhere in NM, definitely worth a stop!

@@exrva as a native NYer who's lived in Chicago, my only pet peeve is that deep dish is different enough from other styles that I wish it were called something other than pizza. But that's one of those screwy things that probably bothers only me. From cursory observation I'd say Chicagoans do eat it, but only occasionally. A lot of area joints offer deep dish, but not so many make a good one. It's a lot of crust, so if the dough is too bland, too salty, too greasy, or too soggy, it's a chore to eat. And even when it's done right, it's a heavy sitdown meal, not the kind of thing you'd want every week.

Pennsylvania is known for its Old Forge style pizza from the Scranton area it’s different than most pizza as it uses a blend of different cheese on a square crust. The cheese isn’t mozzarella but kind of American or cheddar. It’s amazing and I sometimes drive a total of 6 hours to go beck and get it every once and awhile

Regina’s on Thatcher Street in Boston’s North End is what I grew up on and is the best I’ve ever had. You did right by having it on your list. Frank Pepe’s is pretty good at their Massachusetts’ locations. I have yet to go to the Motherland to try the big 4. Not Italy. Been there, done that. I’m asking my son to look at Yale so I can hit the Apizza places in New Haven especially Sally’s.

As a proud resident of the Inland Northwest from Spokane, Washington myself I can confirm that the Flying 🐐 has some of the best 🍕 in my city. I love me some David's 🍕 too. I grew up w/David's 🍕 living right by the Gonzaga University campus, but the Flying 🐐 has 1-upped them, imho.

Washingtonian here. I gotta give it to Waterfront Pizza in Port Townsend. Their Cajun Combo is to die for and the fact that they use a sourdough crust on their pizzas just makes it all better. Trust me, folks. If you ever find yourself in Port Townsend, make a stop at Waterfront. You'll thank me later.

I’ve lived in Nashville, TN most of my life, and while I’m not at all surprised, I’m still a bit disappointed that Five Points came out as the “best.” I’m not saying that they’re bad, but they’re highly overrated. Not only are they overpriced, but they’re not unique. If I want NY style pizza, I’ll go to NY. It’s a scam to copy the style of another city/state. I haven’t visited all of TN, but the best pizza in Nashville is definitely Slim & Husky’s. Try their “see no green.” Slim & Husky’s is actually *unique* pizza that you can’t get in any other city or state. Not just an overpriced copycat of another city and state like 5 Points. Prices are reasonable too. Great value for what you’re getting.

My favorite pizza from a restaurant ever was Peter Piper Pizza in the 80s in Norfolk, VA. The one near Janaf Shopping Center. Double sausage was my jam. Nothing like going there after a couple of good flicks at the theater.

Great video, but I hate that you guys just skimmed over North Carolina. The restaurant I would have chosen for the state would have been Cugino Forno. They get their ingredients imported from Sicily every week and will actually close the store if they run out of inventory. Insanely good pizza.
