Hi Craig. Really loving the content. You work so hard and we all appreciate it so much. I just had a question I wondered if you could cover. I've been looking recently at taking a dive into some coin magic, and have watched some of your old videos on some potential effects using different kind of gaffed coins. I was wondering, what/where would you say are the best flipper coins available from?

I use a marked deck for my mem deck work. It means I don’t necessarily have to peek at a card, but I practice with a normal deck too.
@magic-tv3 жыл бұрын
I know a lot of people that do this Brandon. The problem is my eyes are so bad I can’t work with most marked Decks.
@BrandonJPearce3 жыл бұрын
@@magic-tv Yeah, mine are starting to get bad. Plus it’s good if you can pick up any deck and put it into mnemonica, so using a marked deck doesn’t become a habit anyway

Excellent Q n A. One of the ways I practice is by taking any new tricks or routines and testing them out on new people in the real world. What I do is I go to the mall and randomly perform new tricks or effects and see whether they suit my repertoire. At the same time I also test if the trick is very effective in a real world situation. Also to reward myself for the performances I shoot them and if the reactions of the footage is very good I post them on my KZbin channel. Thanks Craig for this!

Please can you recommend some in the hands colour changing deck routines that do not use gimmicked decks. Routines using 1 - 2 different colour back cards added to the deck would be my preference.

Great Q&A. Firstly to answer your question from last week. I don't have any tattoos personally. My question for this week is what would you say is the most rewarding part of being a magician?

Hi Craig, got my first gig at a house party in July apparently there's going to be 200 people and I'm bricking it, not so much worried about performing the tricks but more so about going up to people and interrupting them and introducing myself, any advice would be much appreciated, not sure if you have done a video on this before, Many thanks

Congratulations on 6,000 subs! My question for you Craig is gonna sound a bit odd. But how important do you think a magician's style is? What I mean by that is the specific style of attire they wear. Take you for example, I notice you always rock the checkered shirt look. Would you say it's important for a magician to present themselves in style to help with their character?

You actually don’t need a playing card generator or number generator if you have an iPhone. If you have an iPhone, you can ask Siri to name a playing card. She can also name a random number 1-52 (or any number range) and she can flip a coin.
@magic-tv3 жыл бұрын
I did not know that Siri could randomly generate a card for you. That is a game changer. Thanks for letting me know

If you worked as an officer in a prison and wanted to perform tricks for the prisoners (baring in mind restrictions on certain things you could bring in to prisons such as mobile phones) what would be your top 3 tricks to perform?

When I was in jail I did recapped by Greg wilson a lot. Card tricks were harder bc the cards were so shitty. But card to some random, impossible place always works great

great advice...you will never get "good" performing for a mirror. You will be rewarded by real world reactions from lay people. You've given plenty of good ideas of how to get performing. I hope everyone listens. (Just do it!)
