I remember going out in the bay with this guy on his buddies jon boat like 5-6 years ago, he was asking me what baits to use for flounder & giving the marine police a hard time completely oblivious. Thanks for the boat ride Jeff! 1fish2fish just proves that anyone with the right intel and a little bit of money can make fishn videos 😂

Ran across this video last week and used a popping cork for the first time today. Best day I’ve ever had on snook. I used a slightly different shrimp/popping cork, but used your tips and techniques and completely killed it. I really appreciate it!! I will for sure add the popping cork to the arsenal. Thanks again guys!!!!

Thank you so much, you answered a lot of questions I had. I was fishing off the pier the other day was using the poping cork and had at least 2 feet of leader and was slaying the trout it was also high tide so it really helped. I’m trying to learn so much so I can get better. I didn’t know how much a leader would make a difference the people around me were not catching anything and yet I was catching speckled trout one after another. Your videos have really inspired me to become a future great angler man so thanks for all the content.

Hey man and lady. What lb. Test do u recommend for leader line? I'm new and was told 50 to 80. So I got 80. Lol. And first off it's really hard to tie well and secondly, it seems like the rubber worm doesn't flow quite right. Thanks foe the help.

Depends on where you’re fishing and what species you’re targeting if using a popping cork I wouldn’t go no higher then 30 lbs leader bro

I bought some popping corks, jig heads and shrimp using your affinity links (thank you for making it easy) a while back. Being fairly new to the area (Ocean View), I have mostly just wade fished out in front of my house using tandem hooks and fish bites for bait fish, but I really want to hook onto some nice size trout/drum. Without giving away your "honey holes", do you have any recommended areas (grass flats/oyster beds) where I can wade fish in Norfolk, VA Beach?

That's crazy that I just so happen to be watching this video to learn techniques of cork popping to catch redfish but I literally got suggested one of those z-man redfish swimbait yesterday and I'm telling you the second cast I threw out there I got a big old bass I can't wait to do saltwater with it I'm so stoked

Nice video! Y'all reminded me of something I used to do with popping corks but have gotten out of the habit of doing. Cut bait under a popping cork in some current drifting into an eddy. I'll have to try that again next time we're out on the yak (and the air temp is above 40 deg 😋)

I'm confused. You use swivels to attach to the top and bottom of the cork instead of just tying the court directly to the line?
@greatscotmagic5 ай бұрын
The swivels are part of the popping cork they have one on the top and on the bottom for you to tie on to

What’s the difference between a popping cork and say a regular float?
@greatscotmagic5 ай бұрын
A topping for at speeds to make noise which is why it's called. The float doesn't have any beads
@greatscotmagic5 ай бұрын
Please excuse the mistakes should be a popping cord makes noise while afloat doesn't. And disabled and use voice recognition software which is being messed up because I'm on a medical bus going to a doctor's appointment?
