Rex has the ability to solo almost every other official dino in the game right now. I feel pretty bad for the spino, with the removal of its charge bite its hard for it hold its own against other apexes.

Finally this is how a rex would be back then. Ok, not face tank an Eo.but the Rex was the king back then. More and more finds, shows a big tank with a strong bite. Good self healing and I can just go on. Rex should be feared.

I hated playing Rex because 80% of players just want to attack you, after watching this movie I'm looking for opponents willing to fight and now most of them run away after realizing how much damage I deal to them and how little I receive from them.. I play Batar and no other rex 1 vs 1 has no chance now ❤

True man, mix packers picks you, and all the nearby dinos who are not with the pack also joins in. Everytime I play rex atleast 5 ppl joins to bring me down.

I'd love to see video of this in an uncontrolled environment and unedited format where you aren't strictly dueling in 1v1s. It's cool that the build works when everyone is playing nice, but that's not the reality of playing a Rex. I tried this build with great hopes--and will continue to try it--but it doesn't seem to factor in multiple opponents much, and that's where the Rex lives.

First off I love your informative channel, you got subbed! Concerning the head slots in regular PoT (PT is better I know but strictly talking PoT), is Facetank still the best option or should one go with either of the bonebreak-attacks? Both the Facetank and bonebreak-abilities seem to have clear negative and positive effects, which makes the choice hard.

Facetank is still the best for pvp, however if you want to secure more kills your can use bone break and play more stealthily, it’s completely up to you really. Thanks for the sub🙏

Hmmm. I hadn't played pot in a while. Rex used to be horrible, like a bad version of daspletosaurus. It was too slow to run away from anything or catch anything and you ended up only fighting people who wanted to fight you (because they'd win). Damage was low, health had been nerfed, small dinos could block you from turning by standing by your haunches where you couldn't bite or tail swipe. It was horrible. I saw the face tank ability. If stomp is still there (to counter the turn blocking problem), I may have to try rex again.

No you can’t catch prey easily but that’s always been an issue with PoT Rex for a while

Depends on the server, if your playing official it’ll take ages but on some community servers it’ll be quicker

Yeah I think the attack is better, also the facetank ability is bugged atm and it’s not working so be careful if you want to use this build now. (It’ll get fixed don’t worry)

I personally find that rex is good again. But some dinos can still beat it. Ano is too tanky while crouching. Stego, giga, and even spino, because that spino you fight was bad. I would love to 1v1 u in hells. My stego v ur rex.

Stomp is actually really good to use in Face Tank combat, if an opponent is charging into you such as a Pycno or Eo or any creature with a charge, simply activate your stomp when they get close, I have decimated a few apexe's doing that.

Honestly i prefer keeping the tail atk to deal with low tier dinos, the turning tail ability does not seems to increase your precise movement turn speed, only your troting/running turn, and yes Rex it's pretty strong with this build if you know you to protect your back, Spinos/Gigas/Ducks and EoTrikes are going to have a hard time trying to assride you, Bars it's pretty much the only one (apex wise) which this build doesn't help. Great video.

no, cus Eo doesnt need it, it has the best turn a precise movement of all apexes, it could assride other apexes so it doesn't really need to be that "monster" in facetank (at least gameplay wise), and worth saying that Eo with sharp horns and charge still wins facetank against everything (maybe not a buffed Rex, not sure), so you dont even need playskill at all, just buff yourself, charge and keep facetanking with your ridiculous precise moviment speed, only small dinos are able to surpass Eotrike's precise movement and get it's back.

@@nvGunn 4 slots. Like sarco which makes it is the same tier as sarco, ano, and stego. Sucho has apex power. Sucho is a high tier or an apex not a mid tier. The power gap between sucho and allo is so big that sucho seems like an apex compared to allo. The strongest carnivore mid tier would be allo or pycno and the strongest herbi mid tier would be iggy. Apexes are 5 slots, High tiers are 4 slots, Mid tiers are 3 slots, 2 slots are high low tiers, and 1 slots are low tiers.
