🔹 In this video, I show y’all what I believe to be the best PT Rex build. It is focused around a bone breaking/charged bite cycling playstyle. Of course, I don’t know everything, so feel free to tell me if I made any mistakes in the comments. Please subscribe

1:50 I did some testing with a friend a few days ago, pulverize is technically better if you're really good at using your grab. Usually two pulverizes, drop the grab and bite, then grab again and pulverize twice more if needed is a hard to land but guaranteed kill combo. Additionally, pulverize can be used to smack the other smalls as well, not just the one in your mouth.

Tbh you can kill eos as PT Rex but it’s just hard because you have to get an ambush on them or you’re screwed

Or you just start the fight with deep rumble and you’re charged by already enabled. This usually only works though if the EO is either not paying attention, or just stands there and sharpens their horns.

You can do it with og and pt rex if you get a bonebreak off and you can facetank/dodge their hits quick enough and you have deep rumble (and no sharpen horns of course) otherwise though its definitely in the trikes favor but its still a very close fight either way

While yes you don't need the Turning on PT Rex, Acro will make you pay if you don't take it. It's the only Dinosaur that can really get on your tail, and If you brake-check, it'll hit you with a Frenzy stomp. Even the Bone-Break build can fail if Acro runs speed tail, where it can just run past you and let you hit it's tail.

In my experience, Afro just gets wrecked by rex. Last time I fought one he barely did 10% of my healthbar. And he was landing attacks during the fight too

PT Rex can handle pounce dinos rather well actually If they pounce on your upper body rather than your thigh area then you can just turn your head and hit them

I do play both eo and PT rex and yes, eo is very hard to kill for a PT rex, if eo sharpens horns first and starts charging pt rex is screwed in 1v1.

If you get off 2 charge bites without being hit to hard you can win I’ve done it many times I’ve also soloed an arg as a pt rex same with acro if you play defense you can 2v1 acros because they are not tanky also great video and PvP as always

Another thing to note is be wary of Giga's aswell, they may not be as broken as an Acro but a giga with a good build and a smart player behind it can 100% destroy a rex especially if they get the jump on you and are able to land enough bites to completely bleed you out.

I beat Gigas all the time when they even charge their bulldoze. I bone break them just when they use their bulldoze. Sure I get pushed away but they’re not going anywhere. It gives the linked cooldown time to end just when I arrive to kill the Giga. You may receive more damage with my method but it’s still a useful method that guarantees a win. I also use charged bite to take down Ampelosaurus’. It’s very useful against Sauropods like those. I’m gonna be that guy dude Yes I constantly kill Eos with PT Rex lol memorizing the eo’s stats and builds gives me an advantage. I play this game a lot and I mean A LOT and for a long time so it’s safe to say that I’ve ran into experienced Trike players very often.

@@vuralgoller65which is what I am. I’m really good with PT Rex and have killed tons of experienced Giga players. The Tyrannosaurus Rex is my favorite animal of all time so of course I’m gonna main the shit out of it and get really good. Especially since it’s scientifically accurate.

I play on realism servers the only time I go for an EO is if it’s resting or asleep and I can successfully get lots of damage before it can face me. Once it faces you and sharpens its horns, it’s a wrap just walk away and hope it doesn’t chase you.

Kick does suck, but one thing ya didn’t point out is that the tail does a very small amount of knockback. It’s not enough to do much to Apexs, but it hurts small and even mid tiers just enough to land an extra bite as PT Rex’s turn in place is actually pretty good. Most things just can’t get behind you enough for them to do much damage.

I do have a good strat for eos on pt rex, but again, it really depends on what the eo is like. So far, I've won around 80% of eo vs pt rex fights using my strat :3

Personally kick is better when you’re fighting small tier Dino’s because when you try to fight a mid or large tier dino it can barely reach and it barely has any reach but fighting small tier Dino’s with kick can do really good damage because they are the height of your knees so you can easily hit them.

I don't think the extra bone break is worth it. The bone break by itself is 10 seconds, +1 with 10% so 11 seconds, that's not really enough to gain an extra bite in my experience, so I just run extra damage all the time

They just need to remove the 4 second cool down to your normal bite after you use bone break the cool down schould be short because if it's too long something can turn around in face tank you And to be defenseless for 4 seconds thats ridiculous even 2 seconds is too long

Also, I have beat acro‘s and pot Rexes as a PT before. The pounce dinos do cause a bit of a problem for PT Rex, but something you might not know is that if they pounce on your shoulder you can grab them. Also either they are going to or already have the nerfed Torvosaurus.

What is pt rex supposed to do solo? I swear there seems to be literally nothing they can do when even a solo raptor rocks up, they just see an easy kill and goodbye rex, its so disgusting to watch it shouldnt happen how are they supposed to combat that apart from just sneaking around the map in the bush the whole time and not interacting with anyone except the lone traveller going to IC every hour if your lucky... I just dont get it.
