My opinion on the Arata hair cream is same as yours. What do you think ablout ashba gel Michelle? Don’t you like it? I am still experimenting on the gel part. Used Curl up gel which gives awesome shine but does not hold for longer. Where as the Arata gel or the Ashba gel dries up my hair a bit.

Thank you for addressing this issue of how we need light weight products. As someone with fine, wavy, loose waves, low porosity and low to medium density hair - I have STRUGGLED to find lightweight products that don't over-moisturise my hair or build up with long term usage. I can barely count on one hand products that have worked for me in the Indian market. I absolutely love the sugarboo leave-in, the northwish shampoo and the manetain conditioner. Even the best life charcoal shampoo is so good! Ashba leave-in is now a tad heavy for my hair but I can't dispute how good it is. And Arata curly hair cream is the ONLY curl cream I can use. I totally attest to how light it is. Problem with arata cream is that the fragrance is super strong! I find that my whole bathroom smells of it. The fragrance lingers for several days. If the brand reduced the fragrance it would've been my ride or die product. If you ever get your hands on Giovanni direct weightless leave-in conditioner- its another lightweight leave-in that I love.

Thanks for sharing. Now this is the second comment around the smell of the arata hair cream. Have they changed the formula or it is just me? Am I not being able to smell it? My tub smells so mild and soft.

Your first video of 2025 yay😍! Happy new year! I really really loved this video. 1) I just bought the hairlove bonnet diffuser. It arrived like 2 days ago. i think they have changed the drawstring. 2) tried the unbrush dupe to dry detangle. it worked nicely 3) have been using eco gel for a while now. but somedays the hold is really less, idk if i did apply too much the leave in conditioner. over conditioned hair is like constant 🤣 4) i was thinking about wet frizz. bec wet frizz ruined last wash day. i'm really interested in the wet brush you mentioned. 5) recently my scalp hurts around my hair parting even though i change my hair parting from time to time. is it because of winter? i don't even do any tight hairstyle. also i was wondering if is it bec i did clarify too frequently for a while like every 10 days or so. 6) really want to try curlup mask because it's light weight but it feels a bit pricey for a 6 months shelf life. bec i have to finish it in 6 months. currently using the just herbs one but it's heavy and slip isn't great (got it for 299rs) 7) the struggle to get definition is real🥲 8)that pillow cover thing is genius! 9) love the enliven mousse!

Hey! 1. They changed the drawstring? Send me a pic plz.. 2. I'm glad the unbrush* dupe worked for you. 3. You have an over-moisturization problem so if you use too much curl cream or leave in under the gel, you won't get a cast. Best is to layer the gel with another hard hold product. Check your dms. I gave you this instruction while discussing the eco styler gel. 4. A boat bristle brush like the pink brush will be great for smoothing the hair over. Check it out. You'll be happy. 5. This can happen for 2 reason, your scalp is dry or your shampoo is drying your scalp out too much. It could also be because of malassezia. 7. Ive used the mask far beyond the expiry date. It didn't expire thank goodness. But I understand your concern. :( they should make it available in a 100ml size. 7. Yup, especially on moisture washdays. On those days I'm like a 2a on top and 3a at the bottom. Lol 8. Dude, the pillow-cover thing has totally enabled my lyadh instincts! Now I can lyadh khao without guilt. ☺️ 9. Yup. It used to be so drying on me back in the day. Now it's one of my rescue products heh.

Hello, I wanted your suggestion on how I can moisturize my hair. I have 2B waves with a low porosity hair type. Most leave in conditioners weigh my hair down and I don't like that. I am currently using moxie shampoo and conditioner with a heat protector by B blunt followed by a hair serum. Should I try using the Northwish leave-in conditioner? Hey Michelle, Happy New Year ❤. Its your videos that made me take up my wavy hair journey from this year finally. I have mostly 2a, few 2b fine hair with less volume and weak root, that has never been coloured or heat-styled. I have purchased products for this- 1. Moxie shampoo ( along with LBP lavender shampoo and Tony&Guy men shampoo I am yet to finish) 2. LBP hair mask that I always use 3. Ashba serum gel 4. Satin pillow case Let me know if I have started on a right note. It is been just 1 wash day, that was good. (Thank god I live in Kolkata too! It's not that cold here) My struggle was to wet detangle and styling in wet hair as my hair shed so easily with just little tension😢 Also, as bengalis, we comb & braid our hair before bed. Craving it😅 But want to stick to this journey for at least 4 months to see the result to commit to it long term. Wish me luck 🫶🏽
@MichelleManuel
@MichelleManuel Күн бұрын
@@DrDebadritaSarkar I live in Kolkata too. See your product lineup sounds reasonable. For styling the ashba serum is very low fuss. The only thing you need to adjust to is the no combing. This will be hard in the beginning. It took me a while to get used to the feeling. After a day you can braid your hair. I do it too. It's totally fine. Switch to dry detangling on product free hair. It will probably work better for you. Watch some of my wavy routines with no wet detangling. You'll understand the steps. We all have to start somewhere. Once you use the products for a while you'll understand if you need more moisture or less moisture. This is going to be experience based. I can make educated guesses, but you will be the best judge. So wait for a few days and see how your hair does after. Does it feel dry and tangled up? Does it feel nice and moisturised or does it feel greasy and dirty? Then adjust the moisture levels by going heavier or lighter. This would be my best advice.

@@MichelleManuel thank you for cheering up. Yes. That's why I chose that styling product. And I will follow your method of "wash now, style later" video. But yeah,, I need to master the frizz smoothing down techniques.
