I had a backpack once I called it my bag of bags. Inside this backpack was every sort of colorful and interesting cloth sack, bag, zippered case, drawstring bags, inside those bags were smaller bags. I had a system, I knew where everything was. I had old military digicamo bags, luxurious purple velour drawstring bags, vinyl Sony headphones bags, you name it. I liked that little setup. I don't think it is a disease, I think it is an organization method ;)

I bought the large one so I could put the N-PL259 adapter and such in the mesh pocket. Great suggestion!

Nice cases. I use a special pouch I received from Special Operations Equipment from a past order, since I have so many of them. Lined inside. I use another smaller pouch they made as a gag for the adapter inside the pouch with the Stick Pro, along with the charging cable and instructions.

Agreed! At least a fabric bag of some kind at a minimum. You'll like the small case, its perfect. Caseling (the brand on Amazon) has a HUGE selection of very good quality cases.

I'm like you and protect my gear in near perfect condition. I've searched for a protective impact glass screen protector for the RigExpert Pro and am unable to find one. I have them on all my expensive Nikon Camera screens and they work great. Sure wish someone had one for the analyzer.

Agreed on the screen protector! If one was available, I'd have it. This gear costs way to much to let it get all beat up.

If you take the cap off you can fit the analyzer with a SO-239 adapter in the slimmer case. Just saying ;) . Thanks for the links!

@@HOAHamRadio I just bought a FT891, I am going to use a sigma x80 vertical mounted to a construction tripod for portable use on hf. I mostly stay on 40 but at night I bounce around the bands some. I am a little ocd when it comes to keeping things organized and protected and I like to have some spare parts with me just in case. Buying the Rig expert stick pro seemed like a no brainer to me, buy once cry once and then I don't need a tuner. I bought the fc50 tuner just in case I need to get on the air quickly with a length of wire. I am still learning, I have been at it for 3 years or so. I traded in a FT1000mp for the FT891because my shack is in a unheated garage. I bought an Alinco PSU.

Thanks for the case ideas 👍. I also wrapped a piece of clear packing tape around the display as a basic screen protector. Seems to be working so far.

Perfect - but only if you are using antennas with N-Connectors. My N to SO-239 adapter will likely be permanently attached.

I think most of us are in your camp; that SO-239 may as well be on there with Locktite.

@@HOAHamRadio May need an N connection one day - actually my DiscCone for UHF-VHF has N-cable. Anyway, just finished 3D printing a TPU extended top protection cover - that will cover the top connector including the SO-239 converter. Copied the existing one but extended the height to 55mm.
