I was playing as a torvosaurus one day, and I heard the sound of a rex groan in the distance and thought nothing of it. Therefore, I continued to hunt the Critters in the dens by digging them out, chasing them, and eating their corpses. On the third creature I killed, I ate it like it was any other until I heard the sound of a branch snapping behind me.

I agree, although I use BB heal now because of, of course, more rexes now than other creatures. I recommend getting balanced tail for adolescent, as your turning is awful. It balances out once you hit sub due to a bigger bite hitbox though. I've also heard charged bonebreak is better in groups/pairs, while small bonebreak is better solo or with someone who's unconfident in their combat.

Something has changed with the PT Rex. It’s smaller the before it seems. Crushing bite gives you an 12sec cools down which affects your other bite. Charge bite is louder then it was and even crouch walk is louder.

Tried out bone break and crushing bite in death matches, I love that combo cause crushing bite is so strong, but they both use stam so you wind up vulnerable if you don’t manage that and you have to run out and back in to work around your cooldowns. Absolutely great in a pack when you can trade out, but regular bite is best for solo rex. But damn that crushing bite can obliterate fast. Terrible for friendly fire 😂

if u are hunting something, firstly use the crushing then run a distance away and charge up the bite. If u are getting ganged on like by 2 rexes then just use the crushing bite somehow and the ability that gives u 20% speed boost after crouching and also use the tail to deal annoying damage and knockback that i often use to win a fight against 2 rexes as a carcha lmao, but fr if u land like some good crushing bites and tails on anything attacking u and u not able to get the domination back (domination= when you are able to win head tank).

Not worth it. I believe the base bite does 90 damage so 2 bites to 180. Plus no stamina drain. Regular bite is best.

Sometimes I like to use bulldozer whenever I get bone broken by a Rex or something when their cooldown runs out and they try tail riding, it means when they try to maybe go behind me I can use bulldozer to push them back so they can’t get behind me, and I don’t have to waste stamina using a charge attack to get better placing,

@@Rock_Redi hate official servers. That’s what I used to always play until I realized the community servers are way better. Much faster growth and a better game experience. You actually get to play the game and not worry too much about all the progress and time you put in after each death. Only thing I hate about the community servers are the awful waiting time to actually get into one. But once you’re in, your gaming experience is whatever you make it to be. Just got to choose the right server.

@@nvGunnright after i said this i got jumped by a pack of dasps 😂. at the time i meant running into things with bone break was rare but rare enough for me to still want to be protected, especially considering modded dino's love handing out bone break. after testing it out, you were right tbh. red herring has helped a lot with hunting and if i hear anything big coming or aren't hunting at the moment i'd just lay down and change it back.
