I was just rewatching your video about Chanel velvet extreme lipsticks when this one came out :)) contemplating red lipstick # 112 Ideal. I have rouge allure velvet #2 & 3 from the previous Christmas collection, and while the colors are hands down gorgeous, I am not happy with the formula. I don’t wear red often, very rarely, actually, and for me a red lipstick has to perform really well, i.e. be long-wearing, not smudgy, but not drying, either. Nothing worse than having a red lipstick smear on your face or look cracked on the lips. I was considering Chanel double wear (whatever the name:)) Daring red, or I am thinking another option can be Ideal 112- the color sounds great, but I haven’t tried it at a store (I have this formula in a nude Modern, & I think you are right, it would look & wear best if topped off with a liquid powder lipstick by Chanel- but it seems like a bit too much, application & expense-wise😆 What do you think?... appreciate your expertise as always

Hi Erin, I love nber 444 Gabrielle of course but I also like 472 Experimental, 440 Arthur, both probably a bit more of a orange/coral undertone and I got No 2 from the limited collection from last year.
