Oh my god. I would be in heaven. I would probably have no way to fit everything I'd buy on the airplane ride back home 😅😅

All of those Xbox 360s probably have the red ring of death

Thank you for your comment! It's true, the prices are very tempting, but there's also a risk involved. Most likely, these Xbox 360s are no longer in working condition. However, if you're skilled at repairing consoles, it could still be a good deal. I've had a similar experience-I bought a PS2 fat edition for 500 yen last year, and it's still working perfectly today. Perhaps it could be a good idea for future videos on the channel to explore buying these kinds of consoles and testing if they're still functional.

Hi, it is very cheap, but something to consider is that these are products categorized as 'junk products,' which means that the store did not take the time to check if they work or not. If you know how to repair these consoles, then it is a very good deal because, in my experience, buying some consoles at a very low price, they were working well with only small scratches and a little bit of dirt. After I cleaned them well, they looked to be in very good condition to me.

Not specifying a few items were from the Junk section.. a little misleading.

Hi there! Thanks for your feedback. You're right; I should have clarified which items were from the Junk section. I'll make sure to be more specific in future videos. Appreciate your input!

Hi, I can imagine that prices of retro games and consoles out of Japan are expensive. Perhaps you have a good reason to come to Japan a do hunting retro game in Tokyo 😅 it is just a thought! Thanks for watching 👍!

The US and EU retrogame market got heavily manipulated by grading companies and resellers, unlike Japan, where people know what old stuff is actually worth. In the west people see it as an investment to buy and horde 30 copies of the same Gameboy Pokemon game and make it artaffitial "rare" even though its the most sold games on those consoles, lol. Its so scummy its laughable if you watch how other places like Japan handle retrogaming!

@@NinjaChris77 Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's interesting to see the differences in how retro gaming is perceived and handled in different parts of the world, isn't it? Japan definitely has its own unique approach to the retro gaming scene. It's all about appreciating the games for what they are, rather than artificially inflating their value. Cheers to Japan for keeping it real! 🎮👍

@@4kjapanspace07 Exactly! And it used to be like that here in europe, where i live aswell, but then the grading companies and resellers kinda ruined that! Alot of collectors that i watched back in the day dont even speak about the games anymore and just talk about what they worth now, its so sad!

@@NinjaChris77 Totally get what you mean! It's a bummer how the focus shifted from enjoying the games to just their value. Let's hope we can keep the love for gaming alive and well like in the old times ! 🎮

15:26 what means Junk?
@4kjapanspace07
@4kjapanspace07 3 ай бұрын
Hi, as Hard Off is a huge chain of second-hand stores in Japan, they have an area named "Junk," which includes devices that mostly still work but have physical blemishes or other problems. "Junk" devices from Hard Off do not come with any warranty compared to other items labeled in red, which may come with a warranty of up to 6 months, depending on the device. Typically, "Junk" devices are labeled in green. In my experience, I have bought some "junk" devices at a very good price, and they are still working perfectly. Finally, I would like to add that most second-hand stores in Japan ensure that all products and devices are in good condition. Japanese tend to take care of their devices, so they are often well-preserved. Thanks for watching!
