I was looking at that, I like the sounds and how versatile their petals are. I’m thinking of getting the Bloom and the Mateus Asato (never know who he was, but love his music now!) signature petal, which after watching the promo vids he did sound beautiful and extremely dynamic. It would be amazing if you could do a review on those! And again keep up the great amazing work!

Love the produced track. The vocals are a bit dry with so much reverb elsewhere in the instrumentation; maybe run the vox through this pedal? Also, @44:55... 🤣🤣🤣

Avi Shabat designed the original Friedman guitars, but his operation is too small, so Grover Jackson took over the production, but originally Shabat made those guitars

I have a hard time believing its the best since early firmware is terrible and it literally struggles to sound like any kind of room. Empress rooms and halls make the R1's sound like a mistake. Edit: 1.11 firmware makes room sounds possible, but takes some real tweaking. The R1 seems to employ a different kind of reverb emulation which makes it sound great in use but off when dialing in. Have had the same issue with plugins and seems to be a design choice rather than a weakness. Really liking the R1 now especially since I fixed the delay when turning on (bypass settings) and found you can have the latch continue to run WITHOUT effected signal by turning it off and leaving the latch - awesome.

I am a sucker for great and not so great reverb gear. Lexicons, SLO, etc. at home are fun. On stage they get in the way unless they are subtle. My Hardwire “Lexicon” RV-7 always makes it back onto my board. Amazing in stereo. Subtle and lush at the same time. This pedal sounds incredible but I know it would not become a permanent board effect because I just couldn’t use it to its full potential. Anyone feel the same way?

Mine has to reach a threshold to trigger the reverb effect. sucks. if i play the guitar lightly, the signal is dry as old bread. i have to hit the strings hard enough to trigger the reverb effect. i am coming to your comment section, because you seem to be critical guy and don't shy back at being pissed of for that kind of stupid stuff. did you experience the same? bug or feature?

It shouldn't be like that, what's your signal chain and guitar? For whatever reason the input might not be "hot" enough. I had that problem with the Slo in "Rise" mode while using an acoustic guitar- it wouldn't detect enough signal to activate the reverb.

@@justink8156 hey thx for the reply! I updated the r1 and the threshold is significantly lower. So in order to make the reverb not trigger, I have to play ridiculously light, so it is fixed for me!
