A Great list from a great time to be alive! I was 16 in 1984 and a Sophomore in high school. I Got my driver's license that year and we did a LOT of cruisin' to almost all of these songs. I had already been playing guitar for 4 years by 1984 and could play most of these riffs back then and still play them today. Another great, but lesser known, band of the 80's (and still touring today) is Y&T. Their album "In Rock We Trust" was released in July of '84. "Lipstick & Leather" and "Don't Stop Running" are just two of the many great songs from that album. Dave Meniketti is such an amazing musician as both a guitar player and singer. Keep up the great work with these lists. They bring back a lot of "most excellent" memories from those really fun years. 🎸 🎸 🎸
