That could be down to your PC, for my current PC my specs run fine and if i suffer any FPS drop i turn off shadows and reduce it to liek medium graphics basically. Might help out

It's crazy cause I lag no matter what.. game is not optimized. I play LoL MDW on high or ultra all the time with no problems would love to know if anyone else is as well, ive tried everything.

Yeah the game isn't properly optimise yet for me I purposely turn off like shadows and anti-aliasing and that helps but majority of my PvP I zoom out to DOT mode so I don't lag

You click off the auto return option.
