even though he didn’t perform optimally coming from a Shang main this video showed all the flaws of Shang Tsung! He has no real staggers, only one good mid string, no plus string etc. this character needs alot of help

@@hartbleed7151 it’s more wrong with this character than good and that sucks because he’s one of the coolest characters in MK. Some matchups on Shang just feel utterly un-winnable Lui Kang as we just saw is a prime example. Not only that you’d think the character literally meant for cancels/ fakeouts and mixes would have alot more of that there’s no reason characters like Rain should have more cancel string potential than Shang Tsung

Shang has BEEN good. He just got overshadowed by all the other top characters, but he has lot in his kit aside from some of his combos.

Shang is NOT good. If you can use the good character your opponent is using, sure. If you're using one of the ridiculous kameos, sure. But by himself, he struggles badly against even Reiko. His frames are so trash. We're not gonna talk about how all his combos get boring af to watch even for the Shang player

now tweedy you told me that "Baraka/kano is not that common", "Baraka/kano is not that good". I just watched combo breaker yesterday and seen every Baraka/kano user had done the same cheap shit you did which was b3 or d1 into Baraka barrage into kano. I remember you telling me that such a team would not work against pros because pros would just flawless block it, well guess what REWIND got DESTROYED by VGY using BARAKA/KANO. As I have said before you pros are nothing without top tier characters and matter of fact I probably shouldn't even consider you pros to begin with because any other player could do just as well with a broken character/teams. Yesterday on combo breaker I watched everyone use the most broken teams ever with no shame, it was so boring to watch, this Shang player has all of my respect because at least he had done something different. Scorpionprocs also used Baraka/kano which I expected considering he top tier hops just like you. SIKANDER was right you all use broken stuff to win instead of putting in hard work. I didn't see not one sub in that tourney. Shame
