8 year olds love leather shoes too. Leather shoes can be more comfortable than others if they are wide enough. Also, if you are styling based on owning very few clothes it is more useful to have an everyday casual shoe for each season, a nice shoe for each season and then a special shoe you barely wear for each season that you can wear with a suit

This line of thinking of knowing why you're wearing certain items at specific times is so important. Oftentimes I feel like it's the last thing people think about, as you're rushing to put on a pair of pants or shoes, but without even thinking about it you've just dictated the whole purpose of the outfit! I really like the categories here too, they solidify the reasoning behind wanting to (motivation) and being able to (practicality) wear what you have in your closet. I think the names you came up with are cool, though I'm biased since I just like the name Michael

6:04 13:30 This felt so real, man. Really life changing. Most of the times I look like a homeless dude because I feel like it doesn't worth to look good when I'm not with friends or family. And most of the time I'm not with friends or family so I use the same old clothes all the time, and it feels like I don't deserve to wear those good shirts and jeans. I guess this is just a psychological projection of how I don't feel worthy in general. I'll try to wear my good clothes more often, even if it's just to buy groceries.
