I believe Carets barefoot shoes has recently developed a certified safety shoe. We are planning on getting our hands on a pair for review and possibly listing them on our site too.

Could you do a video on the best running shoes, my current running shoes are Brooks and im not sure if there bad for my feet
@paweolszowy7722 ай бұрын
Great videos, like always. Would you be able to do one video of how to properly walk in barefoot shoes or totally barefoot?
@TheValonquar2 ай бұрын
I have flat feet and have used barefoot shoes for walking since June. No bad experiences yet although I'm suffering from a knee injury atm but it's likely not related to my choice of shoe. For running I have transitioned to lower stack shoes with varying drops but 5-6mm feels like the perfect amount. High drop shoes with massive stacks which is the industry standard pretty much feel really invasive and awkward.

They've discontinued the Xero 360, I asked them about it. It was my favorite shoe out of all Xero shoes.
@barefootstrength2 ай бұрын
We reached out to Xero about this. They said that they will continue selling the 360 model in the US for the foreseeable future, but have temporarily discontinued in Europe.
@sascha68412 ай бұрын
@@barefootstrength Ah that's why. I reached out too, and they didn't mention that it was Europe only (temporarily). Thanks for clarifying that to me!

I tried going barefoot but ended up getting hurt! I have an odd alignment issue where I have one foot thats flat and one foot that has a nice arch. if you're like me don't go barefoot yet! Would love a specific video on those with my issue! I've been trying to work on it for a long time, but havent had much success. I notice when I squat that the( flat foot side). My heel cant get to to the ground like the other foot. So I have some sort of shortening in my left calf/achilles. Im not sure where thats coming from.

What is your opinion on Clarks shoes for severe flat feet people?
@pedruskal12 күн бұрын
I wonder how to reconcile this with traumatologists and orthopeadist recommending drop, artificial arch support, stability soles and stiff heel counters in case of flexible flat feet?! They only agree with the wide toe box, but otherwise they tell me that overexercising overpronation will hurt my feet and leg joints. (Besides flexible flat feet, I have Sinus Tarsi Syndrome after an inversion over a year ago.)
@cyclechick3137 күн бұрын
I agree . I need slightly firm shoes with a angled platform . I've been wearing new balance 237
@pedruskal6 күн бұрын
@@cyclechick313Right. Those are too narrow for me, but the platform shape helps (stability shoes do this more formally). Barefoot promoters say that overpronation is not a problem and natural... but my sinus tarsi syndrome says otherwise, at least in my specific case!

I have had flat feet my whole life and have worn zero drop shoes for the last 10 or more years. My calves are still tight and feet still flat as pancakes😂! I still love my altars but do not see a difference sadly
@theperipateticaccrescent76856 күн бұрын
Hmm interesting... Have you exercised your calves to become flexible or been actively conscious of how your lifestyle on a daily basis affects your feet? I'm not sure, just guessing but Maybe other parts(joints & muscles etc..)of your body might be over compensating so you might see much difference.

Thank you for making this video, but as someone with a flatter foot all my life, all the shoes you show here kill me from just looking at them. Flatter shoes are just torture devices for me. Stability shoes with a mild drop but with enough cushioning are just a godsend for me, like the Hoka Arahi 7s.

I don't wear O drop shoes, they're too flat and hurt my lower back, even with orthotics

Hmm Intriguing... Have you tried to find out why & what part of wearing zero drop is causing your lower back to hurt? Maybe a different lifestyle or posture training or strengthening & stretching will help? Just thinking.... 🤔

Shoes without bottoms cause bruises to bottom of my feet. No point in wearing "shoes" that are basically the equivalent of going barefoot. You run a big game to make money. Less money into a product and advertise it as purposeful on behalf of the consumer. Not fooling me today besides wasting my time.
@seattlegrrlie2 ай бұрын
You need to 1. change how you're walking and 2. do a transition period I went hiking in aqua socks that are barely shoes. No bruises, no pain. But I've been in barefoot shoes for over 10yrs
