The description you gave of this in the beginning reminded me of “Infinite Leveling - Murim” about a guy who is a captain of a low level band of soldiers. He “dies” in a battle against the greater evil the world has seen, basically an insurmountable force of nature. Then he wakes up in the body of his younger self and is basically given 30 years to get stronger and change the future to defeat this great evil. Problem is, he’s talentless. A complete dolt when it comes to his internal energy/ power. And he’s completely surrounded by prodigies from the greatest generation. Understanding that he’s not just in possession of a “weak” body, but he also has a condition that essentially makes it so he will probably not surpass a certain level of internal power, even with hundreds of years of cultivation. So what does he do? He starts working out and training. Non stop. And hard work always pays off. He’s given ridiculous tasks by a system that is helping him get stronger. One challenge/mission is to duckwalk (marching in a squat stance) hundreds of miles. Only to reach his destination and realize that he now has to swim accross a sea to get there. So he just starts swimming. lol. And even when surrounded by a prodigy best friend who literally has a power that allows him to get infinitely stronger in his sleep while taking naps, he’s still keeping up through sheer, ridiculous hard work. If that’s not a Rock Lee/ Might Guy story idk what is!

Most of this look great but there are a lot of little details that are way off. For example, Yarrin's gold signs should be mechanical. They are supposed to be made of a liquid metal that takes the shape of blades and shines like polished steel. The "evil god" that crashes the festival is actually supposed to look quite haught with massive pinioned wings, not like a cartoon villain with demonic wings. Elder Whisper, the fox, is supposed to look like a normal fox but with pristine white fur not a massive horned dragon fox. I am really excited at the idea of Cradle being animated as it is one of my all time favorite series but there are a lot of signs in just this little bit of footage that has me worried about how closely they will be following the source material.
