Interested to see how long this last. Was actually in the market for one for my basement . The larger vertical ones from the big box stores aren’t cutting it. Crawlspace ninja on KZbin, has a decent video about Santa Fe’s . I guess they quit installing them due to lack of parts and longevity issues. They switched to April Air and claiming far less call back issues. Give us an update down the road on this!! Keep up the awesome content.

Did you find the sweet spot in the dial to keep it below 50%? I just bought one

@@ambitiousant3855 that's a great question! Here's what I have discovered over the last month or two testing this thing like crazy - I have dialed in a sweet spot that keeps me right at 50% which I feel is perfect, UNLESS it rains! When it is raining, the humidity will spike tremendously! Like we are talking 70-80% minimum. I'm sure Santa Fe can clue us in on the reasons why. When that happens, I simply turn the knob down a couple notches for a day or two. Is this necessary? No! The humidity will drop back down in time, it just takes a little longer. I have noticed though the garage as a whole no longer has a musty smell, and the dehumidifier has continued to impress me with it's energy efficiency. I would love to hear your experience with the unit?

@@miillersconstruction so it’s doing just under 2 air changes per hour for that room. That’s pretty good I think.
