Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 is easily my favorite DBZ game and its story mode, the Dragon Universe, is a big part of why. Whether you're flying around searching for the Dragon Balls, participating in any of the series iconic fights, or simply enjoying the cel-shaded graphics, Dragon Universe is worth going back to all these years later.

I kind of like what super sonic warriors did for a story mode. It re told the main story as if that character was the main character. It expanded on that by giving characters what if type forms and abilities. Krillin had to master the kaioken and spirit bomb near the end of his story for example.

When I played this game as a little kid who didn’t have access to the Internet it was so much fun just flying around and trying different stuff and going off of my permanent but also very limited dragon ball knowledge I had a good time to try to get on lockable‘s It was a great time a lot of fun even if I still barely understand how ultimate attacks work to this day

Honestly flying around was one of the best parts. Loved hunting for the Dragon Balls and finding upgrades and stuff.

Just stumbled upon your channel and it aims straight at my nostalgia weak spots lol. Did you ever play the 3 GBA DBZ games? (Legacy of Goku 1 & 2 and Buus Fury) Specifically Buu's Fury which uses the open world flying of dragon universe? Those games and the budokai series are still probably my favorite DBZ games. On a side note there are very few opening themes that hits me harder than budokai 3's.
