A couple of things I reach for daily and even though I’ve tried to replace them with alternatives, I keep going back: Niod Super Oxide Dismutase mist, DRMTLGY Tinted SPF46, enature Moringa cleansing balm. My absolute go-to, use every day without fail products this year have been the I'm From Rice Toner (of course), the MISSHA Artemesia Essence, the Hanskin BHA Pore Cleansing Oil, and the Real Barrier Extreme Essence Toner. I use the Artemesia Essence spray just like how James uses the CosRx Centella spray and I feel like it has made my skin a million times more hydrated and comfortable! The Hanskin Pore Cleansing Oil is a perfect gentle exfoliant. The I'm From Rice Toner is just perfect in every way and has helped my skin appear more bright and smooth. The Real Barrier Extreme Essence Toner is amazing for whenever I've compromised my skin barrier; I swear I can feel my skin be like "i like that thanks" whenever I use it!

I have extremely sensitive skin and it has a tendency to become dehydrated when I don’t treat it properly and I found that IDC express multi-action is working wonders on my dehydrated skin and even during my better days when I only need a small layer. Also Avene hydrating mist/water is magnificent whenever I need extra hydration during the day or right after I have cleansed and before my moisturizer! It is fantastic and both products work really well together! I feel so much better now!

Hi James the one product from the year I can't live without is azelaic acid (my current fave is the geek and gorgeous Apad). I've been on tretinoin for 18 months and it is a top fave, but I incorporated azelaic acid this year. I have rosacea and eczema so I struggle with AHA/BHA, but azelaic acid is different. I had been a bit unsure about it, due to the name and the exfoliating ability is is touted for. For me it doesn't really give noticeable exfoliation, but it does give excellent redness reduction and anti inflammatory effect. As you are someone who has rosacea (I'm sure you've said so in the past) it is something I think you should try. So many soothing and hydrating faves for the year, but these are the hard hitters which have given real results. Best wishes.

OMG James you have to try Round Lab Dokdo Series, especially the toner and lotion. Those are bombs, the toner won the korean apps beauty award in 2 consecutive years. I freakin love how their toner is just really really hypoallergenic, hydrating, and soothing for my oily skin. It is so lightweight and watery that sometimes you will forget having a toner. Not to mention the lotion OH MY GOD, it is the lightest moisturizer I’ve ever tried but goddammit it moisturizes my skin way better than any thick cream I’ve tried. Their dokdo cream is actually really good too, I mean it has 3 forms of HA and multi-ceramides but unfortunately it is soooo thick that my oily skin don’t dare to try

In 2020 I definitely reached a point where my backups have backups now, but of all of them my love for essences has stayed strong! Missha Artemisia first essence has been a true favorite (3 bottles in 5 months!) but the next contender for favorite might actually be Laneige Cream Skin. I hated the water sleeping mask so had lowwww expectations but wow does it plump and soothe. Best “investment” purchase was the I’m From masks (honey and mugwort). I fell in love with the Inkey List oat cleansing balm which has been very soothing and gentle for my dry skin. I also am enjoying the Me+ boosters from Superdrug and the Hada Labo 2020 premium lotion. I also love the Purito unscented spf and I did like the Keep Cool bamboo sun essence which I found was very similar to the Purito. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out in 2021. My favorite product of 2020 has got to be the vegan milk cleanser from Milk Makeup, I feel like James would absolutely love it because it is another hydrating cleanser that imo hydrates and cleans better than the Krave matcha hemp cleanser. It's $30 but also often on sale at Sephora for $15-22, which I think is a great deal because the cleanser is lovely.

thanks to you, James, I definitely have started regularly using the Klairs toner. I got into the Inkey List and have used pretty much all of their products (but especially niacinamide, salicylic acid, and retinol). Ive stuck with Cerave for my regular cleanser but I've started using Glow Recipe's papaya cleansing balm as well. everything else (serum/moisturiser/spf) changes fairly frequently still, but I do like Cerave's spf for the dark winter months. I'm in the market for a better spf tho, as cerave has an awful white cast. I also got really into Versed skincare line. idk if you have it in the UK but it would be super cool if you'd consider trying it out for your next drugstore skincare video! I've really loved the gel moisturiser, and clarifying serum. have a great one!!

I would love, love, love to see both James and Robert do a video with tiny hands. Not say a word, don’t announce it, nothing in the thumbnail, just start the video and all of a sudden you notice the tiny hands! 😂 They both use their hands a lot when they’re chatting, and I just think it would be so cute, and hilarious. Maybe even both of them on their combined channel! 🥰😂👍🏽

That keep cool sunscreen has only 2 chemical uv filters just like the purito sunscreen, makes me kinda hesitate to repurchase. And also looking by the ingredient list it must has very small percentage of uv filters too because the uv filters are not that high on the list.
