My brother had an ‘06 Grand Prix GXP with magnaflow exhaust. The V8 sounded gorgeous and could pull on pretty much any car at the time. It never got old seeing the faces of other drivers when he would punch it.

As an Ion Redline owner. I have to say that our car came first. Cobalt and all other deltas followed. Plus the ion redline is by far the rarest of the Delta cars with about 5,486 ever made and probably less than 1000 in running condition today. The Ion Redline is hands down my favorite sleeper and the price is only going up for them now!!!

My 2016 VW GTi PP is a TRUE sleeper. Yes it’s a GTi performance hatch. But it’s complete stock outside besides a drop, Aerofabb rear spoiler, light 35% black tint. It was high optioned car so no need to change lights. Money went into just performance parts. Stage 2 with performance cat MAPerformance Downpipe. Tuned by Cobb so no CEL. It’s on BC coilovers paired with new end links all around with a solid 25.4MM 034 Motorsport rear solid sway bar. BF dog bone mount was installed. The car comes with a front diff stock as well. Tires have been upgraded to performance BFG 235/40/18 on stock wheels. From 235 to 225 stock it was an improvement. I added hub centric spacers to improve the stance. I get surprised looked everyday from ppl. Many ppl simply get smoked, even super cars on windy small B pillar roads. The small is20 turbo spools very quickly and boost is always on tap no wait. I’ve added every single available bolt on for the stock IS20 like turbo elbow etc. Brakes have been upgraded to performance pad and rotors. The PP came with Golf R brakes as well much larger Red calipers. I did a brake flush with high temp Motul fluid and threw in a full set of Stop Tech stainless steel brake lines while at it. To finish it all up. I did a DSG service, red top RS3 coilpacks, RS7 one step colder spark plugs. Under the hood it looks almost all stock, besides a black turbo inlet pipe. Stock intake is still in except for a drop in K&N air filter and also the OEM snow catcher was for better flow. I will be wrapping the stock air box in high heat resistant gold tape. It’s a real hoot! It’s the best daily driver I’ve owned thus far and I’m a bmw fan boy.

There were three Saturn Red Line trims used as far as I know. The Sky Red Line isn't a sleeper but that's the third one.

Stinger GT and the VR Q50/Q60 make easy 450whp+ seen a stock turbo Q50 make 550 to the wheels. Upgraded turbos and injectors and they are 650whp+ also the M340i, B8.5 S4/S5 and 335i’s are all good sleepers once tuned.

Accord v6, sadly mines still stock, but especially if you can find one with the 6mt, they are pretty quick even stock, and the j-series can easily make a lot of power too

I have a ion redline. Great potential and these run forever. I have 204xxx on mine daily it and it still rips for what it is. With the supercharger and the recaro interior and the reliability its one of the greatest sleepers. You also forgot the sky redline lastly the ion redline came before the cobalt ss.

The 2017+ Hyundai Elantra Sport. Yeah the 1.6 turbo engine is the same from the Veloster turbo, making 201hp/195lb/ft torque, but it came with a manual! And its a frickin' Elantra. I own one, and it always surprises people to see a turbocharged Elantra. It makes pops and burbles from the factory, it has a healthy powerband that feels more than 201hp. It also is a beast in the turns! I track mine and it doesn't skip a beat. Since it shares many suspension/chassis components with the Veloster N, it is incredibly neutral feeling and has great driver feel for a modern car. I cant say enough good things about it

Cadillac Northstar cars are the ultimate sleepers. A 99 Deville Concours has oldschool cadillac styling and has 300hp going to the front wheels. On a good pass these cars can turn a 14.9 bone stock. My '07 DTS has a slightly detuned version of that powertrain. I tuned it on 93 octane and beat a FBO 9-2x Aero and a CTS Coupe 3.6 DI off 30 rolls. Some of my other favorite sleeper cars include the Park Avenue Ultra or Riviera with the 3.8 SC. Very reliable powertrain and can be seen running 14s with minor bolt ons. Another group to consider is the D Body GM cars like the 96 Buick Roadmaster and Cadillac Fleetwood. These came with the same powertrain as the 96 Impala SS. Those cars can turn low 14s with simple bolt ons. Lastly, the Lincoln MKS Ecoboost is a Luxury variant of the Taurus SHO and can turn 12s with nothing more than a tune 😳. Note: The bay of a Continental was shown when talking about the Mark VII. Lincoln continentals are also fantastic sleepers, but they're FWD like the northstar cars. Additionally, The Lacrosse Super has the same underpinnings as the GXP, MC SS, Imp SS, but in a sedated grandma sedan body.

1. the lincoln mark 8 did not have 390 hp, that was the mustang cobra also known as the terminator. the difference is that the mustang had a supercharged engine, the NA produced ~303 hp 2. the picture yall put for the mercury marauder is a grand marquis. the marauder has different rims and has its grill the same color as the body alongside different bumpers

I had an 1992 Saturn Sl2 and I smoked a lot of cars with it. Don’t under estimate a 1.8L Twin cam 5 speed. I miss that thing!! I beat a 04 v6 mustang, some bmw’s... to bad the governor kicked on at 115mph though😕

Best sleeper huh lemme think the Ford Taurus SHO it’s a Taurus with a twin turbo 3.5 v6 with awd the only way u can tell the difference between the sho and the reg taurus is from the badge on the back and the exhaust note if they have a different exhaust, mine makes 420whp and 489 trq tuned e30
