I want to thank you for the wonderful and entertaining videos that you have posted about living in Michigan. You were very helpful and instrumental while I was in the housing market. It was through your videos (and one other significant persons videos) that I was able to understand some important aspects about the home buying process. The 2021 housing market was very tough and tougher for a V.A. buyer. Your videos helped me to understand how to navigate in that difficult market. One of the most important things that I learned in your videos is how Proposition A works. I was able to ensure that my estimated escrow was closer to what the uncapped property taxes would be and avoid having a significant house note increase from underestimated property taxes in my closing disclosure. I think that your videos provide a wonderful and entertaining public service to prospective homebuyers.

Note while I was growing up there was a major drug issue. Wolverine lake is actually considered the poor neighborhood in the area. I graduated 2010 so don't know how mch of that changed. My grandmother home was on the lake and was a cottage 1958 was bought. she raised 8 kids there. Her home after her passing was sold for 1.m. it was for the land and that was it. Her home was the only cottage still on the lake without renovation.

I grew up in Clarkston Michigan in Oakland county from 1983 to 2006. It used to be a beautiful place where everyone knew each other, then it became a disgusting cesspool of a bunch of strangers with no commonality. You can only have so many ants on a honeycomb until there is no more honey. You can have the most beautiful town to live in, however if you tell everyone to move there it becomes a overcrowded cesspool. It literally ruins the beauty that once was. At least somebody can stuff money in their pockets by using a popular name on the map. When people bring their kids from the ghettos to a place like Clarkston they bring all their shit with them and it spreads.
