Daniel Miss tx he’s parked at the Crooked Lake boat launch when talking in the truck but it looks like Burt when they’re on the water, near maple bay...but at 11:15 that’s clearly the mouth of the Cheboygan River on Mullett

Lake Simcoe is WAY better. It's the only place people call 5lb fish rats. Check out the 35lb bag we filmed on our channel! Simcoe has 9lb Smallmouth.

You are probably right but the lake they are at has 10lb smallmouth. 9.98 confirmed but close enough.

Lake X... Idk why people act like that on a PUBLIC lake. It's Mullet lake, or Burt Lake that's connected to Mullet lake. That boat launch is on the east side of the lake and it's open to ANYONE! Go catch some big smallest but take pics and throw them back for the next guy

Jim, love your videos! Was that a 4” Yamamoto hula grub Greg was using? What was the color? Hula grubs aren’t as popular now as they were a few years back but they are consistent smallmouth catchers. I never fish Lake Erie without them. Make a video at Presque Isle Bay some time.
@WildOutdoorMedia4 жыл бұрын
Charles how did I miss this comment?! Green Pumpkin black flake was the color. I did a video (several actually) but I filmed a show there with my friends that was called Erie Feeling, lol. It's a great place to fish for sure!

No dude. I know that lake is much smaller plus no train tracks anywhere in the video. Have family that lives on that lake. And to the northwest part of the lake you'll find the southern portion of the bordman river.

There was dead giveaways in the video about location's, but i did enjoy watching the attempts to throw people off from were you were actually fishing. I grew up 20 minutes south of Mackinaw City, familiar with the lakes you were fishing. Another banger is Douglass lake if you ever have an opportunity to fish that along with Trout Lake in the U.P
