I always decide the Phone of the Year based on objectivity rather than subjective reasoning. So, I will await the final stats for 2024 to see what phone sold the most. This will consider everything from brand loyalty to value to cameras to efficiency & performance. No one thinks that the S24U is the best because it has an S-pen when 95% or more smartphone users do not use a pen on the phone. I am sure the S24U will be near if not the best seller in Android land, but I expect that the iPhone 15s will dominate the Top 10, followed by the iPhone 16s. Most smartphones are now superb, and it comes down to subjective preferences if you ask someone on the street. As value for money is probably the most important question for most buyers, the S24U and iPhone 16PM should not be there as they are too expensive to have any semblance of value for money. So, my subjective phone of the year would be the upcoming OnePlus 13, which combines 95% of what the S24U has at 66% of the price.

I think your awards were even better than Arun's from Mr.Whosetheboss and you did justice by giving best phone of the year (BPOTY) to S24 Ultra instead of X200 Pro (Arun's choice for BPOTY) as it is better only in picture quality (video quality and selfie camera are not so good) other than that S24 takes the win in all other aspects even battery (as on-paper Vivo seems ahead with 6000mah of juice).

No When pixel starts giving snapdragon latest chips & improve on portraits edge detection then may be considerable but not now. Even after paying above 1lakh+ pixel is giving UFS 3.1 storage🙄 UFS 4.0 is the latest one. All other flagships are providing it

Tensor chip in 1lakh+ price category phone doesn't make any sense There's drastic difference in raw performance of Tensor 4 Vs Snapdragon elite or Apple A18 pro or dimensity 9400 N even 25k price category Android phones are giving latest Storage UFS 4.0 which is good for long run for that phone. While pixel 9 pro xl(1lakh+) giving UFS 3.1🥱 Even budget android phones around 25-30k are giving antutu benchmark score that is equal to what flagship pixel is giving.

I didn't agree at the last one. I think Galaxy S24 Ultra is inferior to iPhone 16 pro max. Because iPhone's photos has natural tone while galaxy gives a warm tone and in gaming. No phone can match the stability and consistency of iPhone 16 pro max

watching from s24u..it's a beast and most balanced phone in every aspect. Samsung dex and S pen still has no competition.
