What is the coldest it can operate at? Tactacam is -4 degrees.

I’m late watching this one. I have 2 of these. They work well. Very much overkill….. but I was concerned with having power issues in overcast or lower light situations, I’ve never seen the panels come off 100% in the regardless of the conditions … Theuve been out a little over a month. At the end of the day …. I may not run these on ever camera every time like you mentioned …..currently mine are in food plots so sure I’ll keep them there.

That’s my thinking as well, perfect for that application or somewhere you plan on running a cam year round etc

Will this work with moltree edge
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Жыл бұрын
I would assume so but I’m not sure I don’t own one check what cables it takes then check the ones that come with this
@bobevans12345 Жыл бұрын
It more or less works with any camera on the market wether a Spartan 6v or 12v like most others. It comes with the cables to fit all of the cameras. Moultire uses 5.5x2.1mm

hi looks nice - can you run a raspberry pi Raspberry Pi Zero W with it? The power input to the Pi Zero is 5V - what i need to make it work with the herd360?
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Жыл бұрын
I have no clue what that is but I’d assume you’d just need the right cord to run it

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAthanks for quick reply - ok looks like the herd360 has 5V output too right?

I bought 3 last year. Just bought 2 more. I installed batteries in my Tactacam cameras to see how much it they used. After a complete season and 6 months of high res pictures and video, my batteries were still fully charged when I removed my cameras.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAАй бұрын
Well yes these panels are strong enough you don’t even need batteries in your cams I have 3 cameras out that have been out for over a year with no batteries with no issues
@5forksАй бұрын
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA it was an experiment. I used an external battery box on 1 and the camera batteries ended up taking over after the external battery ran down. They are great solar panels.
