I think when it comes to cell cameras, they are definitely worth it. Especially since lithium batteries are ridiculous. I have left a cellular Spypoint with a built in solar panel for over a year and the batteries did not die. With the price of lithium I have began purchasing solar panels for all my cameras. They will pay for themselves in time.

The newer Bushnell cell cams are great on batteries. Mine has been out since March and is reading 99% today. No solar panel, and im using Duracell alkaline AAs.

Good to know. My experience is they will read 99% and then deteriorate quickly. I have around 20 trail cameras and most of them will take 2-3 sets of batteries in a year depending on settings.

Problem with spypoint is they allow water into the battery area and then die. Worked with 15 cameras...i have about 5 left

Good comparison Nate! I’m sure you had a lot of work involved. 👍

Thanks! 👍 Never as good as the trail camera king.

The campark cheapies are great - well made, with decent features, although some of the claims about the photo and video resolutions are nonsense: 12MP is the highest native photo resolution the image-sensors produce and the 4K video is (pointlessly) interpolated. I've had mine out in the bush for well over 12 months and never an issue with running out of juice.

Some of those "nonsense claims" describe a good many trail cameras on the market.

The black one I've got under a different brand and it's been outside for 14 months and still going strong running just off its solar battery. I'm in the UK too so sun isn't always strong and still it works well.

My black one is still running well also. Probably the best preforming one of the bunch.

I'm curious - with so many cameras to choose from, what was your criteria in choosing these particular ones for a comparison video? I'll take a look at Cam Park. I'm looking for something to view the wildlife on my property and have tried Reolink and Eufy but these particular type of home security cameras only seem to last about a year. Hoping a 'trail' camera might be my best bet!

Price and availability. Also many brands offer more than one model but I was trying to get as many different brands as possible.

What solar camera would you recommend for low cellular area. AT&T has the best coverage in the area.

Are you asking about cell cameras or solar cameras. None of these cameras have cell capability. As of now I haven’t tested cell cameras that have solar power.

Why can't 🇨🇳 companies come up with better English names in 2023 🤷🏻♂️
