@@ctc2469 grabbing the artifacts (and having the vendor upgrades) also means you stack the engram rewards for ritual activities. So you'll tripple to quadruple your engram farming. For the more OCD among us, you can also focus a particular type of armor piece for each vendor to make sorting easier.

I agree. I think I maxed-out on alloys and prisms the week that the coil was the seasonal challenge. Each run takes almost an hour, but you do get a bunch of chests if the team is doing things right.

For more upgrade modules, you can re-run Witch Queen and Lightfall Missions, Normal completions will give you at least 2 Upgrade Modules. While, Legendary completions will net 6 plus Upgrade Modules...

My personal Glimmer farm when tradinginto Rahool isn't an option is to do Heroic Public Events in the EDZ. They give about 13K Glimmer per completion and there's usually at least a few people doing the same thing anyway. Maybe not the most efficient but it's more engaging than resource and chest farming.

It's definitely better than resource and chest farming, sure grab them while you go by, but HPEs are the play. With all of the regions in the EDZ there 's also almost always an event about to start, so you rarely have to wait long for one. A lot of the time you can even go from one to another with no waiting at all.

I do legendary Lost sectors for cores and prisms. The first run takes 10 mins to get the feel. Then I average 3:33 every run. So I get 1 Enhancement Core per minute getting 4 at the end. And 2 prisms per 4 mins. I set a timer for an hour and I'm set. And you get an exotic 3/5 runs.

I would like to add that if you have the current season, The Coil is also a pretty good solo farm for Shards, Alloys, Prisms and cores . Solo Coil runs can be hard and they roughly take an hour per run but if you can get all the broken jars and Bungie buffing the glass drops from regular enemies you can hit the high score and get into the dream room for all the loot. I've been doing this solo for the last few months because all my friends are jaded...I mean for the challenge and I'm currently sitting at 17 golf balls.

Focusing at Rahool with a ghost mod also overrides intrinsic stats on exotics which is fantastic.

It does not override intrinsics. Some armor will naturally be spiky in a particular stat. You will still get at least 10 in whatever you have the mod for, but the other stat will still be a spike.

The largest problem with high stat armour is it doesn't matter if you have all 5 DLCs before lightfall because you can only access the war table sonar station and Eris morn table if you have lightfall which is bullshit if you ask me

PSA on Enhancement Prism farming: when Iron Banner rolls around, slap on 4 pieces of IB gear with the Iron Lord’s Pride perk and the enhancement prism ghost mod. You’ll get a prism to drop every 2-3 games

This, and I feel like so many people don't realize that platinum runs also drop Nightfall Ciphers (adept), so as long as you've got the adept weapon unlocked in collections by having done a GM for that weapon even once, you can run Coils for the same amount of ciphers as well as ascendant shards, alloy, prisms, and a shitload of gear.

The coil rewards 1-2 ascendant shards pretty much every run with platinum, and platinum is reasonably easy to get now. You also get alloys, and a lot of weapons/wish-engrams which = a lot more legendary shards for free. I highly recommend for any season pass holders. If you're tired of people dying wasting revive tokens in matchmade runs, just select private before launching it.

The coil is incredible for loot, if you can consistently get to the wish chamber you can get ascendant shards, alloys, exotics you haven’t previously unlocked, and even nightfall ciphers. Within a few runs I went from 4 ascendant shards to 11

Certain Legend Lost Sectors have been my primary source for cores and prisms, depending what's on rotation. Ones like Aphelion's Rest or Skydock can be cleared pretty easily in under 2 minutes, letting you farm the items at fantastic pace, albeit at the cost of your sanity for doing the same thing over and over for hours

you can do the coil runs and farm all matts if ur not into grinding as much, 40 mins per run and you'll get alloys, acendance shards, cores, prisms, but what you have to do is complete on plat rewards that can be pain if you do not know where the pots are

Coil is a bit lengthy but with a decent build plat is definitely soloable and gives ascendent shards/alloys if you make it, along with some prisms and cores along the way. You can also do matchmade, but some runs you will be at the mercy of teammates not breaking the jars or just being bad

Hi @falloutplays! Just wanted to let you know that Trials will drop ascendant shards sporadically on a win with a flawed card, too. I completed a flawed card and grinded out a fair bit of matches after and managed to get a handful of Ascendant shards despite the card being flawed. Maaaaybe you a higher drop chance with a flawless card? But if you're bad at pvp like me, it still works.

For Glimmer the manual way to farm it is to go to the EDZ and do public events. They give 10k glimmer per public event which you can increase by 50% with your ghost mod to 15k.

For glimmer, I still recommend Public Events. Theyre not too difficult to do and with thr glimmer boost mod on my Ghost, I get like 15k for one Heroic. And if I'm doing my daily planetary bounties, i can usually also do those while working on the Public Event.

Hell i remember back in d1 and i guess early d2 doing laps of cosmodrome and the moon (d1) and edz, moon and Mars (d2) before bungie ruined everything.

I will say if you can upgradr trash legend armor if its 4 or above to level 8(if its less than that then you are wasting more mats) but you still end up with a net positive for cores! Still a great method to farm. Also the new dungeons first encounter is a great way to farm some great roll armor and weapons given they can survive and beat the encounter.

On the note of trials, you dont have to go flawless to hold a card with 7 wins to farm ascendent shards. Not sure if this change went in yet but you can also get ascendent alloy from comp for playing past your initial 3 games per week Even tho it goes away with final shape, platinum runs of the coil is a good way to farm everything from cores to shards especially with the recent change making getting 140k points easy enough that you can even let the glass collector get away & still hit platinum

You should be running the coil as a solo player if you want golf balls. Usually get 1-2 a run and then runs take 40-45mins, but its a lot easier than trying to find a solid GM NF team.

You can farm Enhancement cores for literally free by buying blue armor and upgrading it up to level 8, then dismantle and repeat until you have as much as you want. You expend 3 enhancement cores and receive 3 for free from dismantling (basically you get 6).

Coil takes about 30-40 minutes. You get prisms and shards easily. Just make sure to go and shoot every pot you can. Focus those glass collectors like your life depends on it, and hope your team doesnt waste all your revives.

shuro chi is great but the breakneck mission in the lightfall campaign is easier and faster to get to, and the banners are free, go to the room where you break the glass door and kill all those ads but DO NOT kill the wyvern. when thats the only thing left in the room die and start again

Fastest way to farm everything at once (except spoils). Wait until TheCoil has the melee regen modifier. Run Strand Titan with flechette storm and complete a platinum run in 25 minutes. Best tactic overall

I'm commenting without watching the whole video, but because Fallout said "for whatever reason" in regards to the armor drops at the beginning, I thought I'd mention it anyways: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT SEASONAL UPGRADE. if you're new, you can get certain perks/upgrades for your seasonal loot "stuff". In order to check, go to your Quests tab, select the Seasonal Activities section (looks like a wide light blue rectangle) and select the second "tab". the name should change to Seasonal Bonuses or something along that line, along with three or four seasons. Select the relevant season, and scour the entries for that page until you find something that mentions high stat armor focusing, or armor focusing in general. Then you need to GRIND THE HELL OUT OF THAT OBJECTIVE ASAP. any and all armor focuses without this mod means that high stat armor is not guaranteed, and no one likes wasting engrams, no matter how easy they may be to gain. Unhappy farming, guardians!

There is great another legit way of farming weapon exp, launch lightfall campaign mission(i think it is 4th misson with vex look it up yourself) it will give you checkpoint forever, even through weekly resets, you get free rally flags, there is less enemies though, just wipe before killing a wyvern and you are good, this is my prefered method, and maybe there is someone who has lightfall but not forsaken

The grasp of avarice opening is infinitely better than shuro chi for crafted weapons. Unlimited spawning enemies and unlimited supers without having to wipe every 2 minute. Even if you are leveling a heavy or special weapon, the amount of enemies that spawn in the cave can be wiped out quick and drop hella ammo

That's what I do. Bring a shoot-to-loot weapon and you don't even have to leave the top of the building. That's been my go-to for crafted weapons and catalysts for quite a while now. Admittedly it is a bit difficult for shotguns, fusion rifles, and sidearms but other than that it's nice.

Level up weapons: also Grasp of Avarice entrance counts as weapon XP and you don't have to wipe or kill yourself. Just wait for enemies to respawn, don't take any fake engrams and kill everyone. For glimmer: my man you forgot public events xD. I believe public events give like 5-8K normal and 15k heroic. Its easy to find, free for all and you just need a guide on how to get every public event heroic and sum up the mod for the gost you also said to get a bunch of glimmer.

At max glimmer constantly and have an ever growing passive pile of shards, but there's no easy way to redeem cores from the likes of Rahool. Big blind spot there and Spider ran a tighter ship.

Armor focusing seems to be bugged, both at Rahool and the War Table. I'm definitely not getting spikes based on the ghost mod.
