It's rare because it needs to be the adept version so you can equip the adept range mod, but Swordbreaker adept is a PvP GODTIER shotgun. It can get the full 7m falloff and consistently 1-hit kills without needing to slide (no need for slideshot). You can have full choke and still reach that 7m falloff with threat detector and opening shot to reach that max 100 range plus accuracy benefits and tighter pellet spread; and what this does is make your movement faster since it's a lightweight while it has high handling since it's a lightweight for better quick-swaps on top of threat detector maxing your handling out at 100, and since it's again a lightweight it has a quicker RPM so you can follow up shoot a second shot very quickly if they aren't quite in punching range. Sometimes I purposely shoot my first shot too soon which tends to bait them into shooting their shot too soon but I have the easy quick follow-up because they're using Conditional and I shoot way faster. Pair with Stasis Warlock and it doesn't matter that you aren't using Conditional because your freezing abilities fill that gap and you're a walking anti-super that kills bubbles just as easily as Conditional. The speed benefits are a boon when you freeze a target and have to close the gap quickly, plus the high handling quick-swapping for the same reason. It's the only lightweight shotgun in the game that reaches that full 7m falloff without needing slideshot which just makes it so much more flexible and usable in all situations instead of just the aping ones, and threat detector is basically always on so it essentially is a shotgun that always has 100 range and 100 handling plus full choke no matter if you slide or not with movement speed benefits and a significantly quicker RPM...add the freeze abilities and it's Conditional on meth!!! Ignitions are the one thing Conditional has over it but I find myself picking this over Conditional all the time.

I unironically like pulse and scout rifles in pvp (the former usually a crafted phyllotactic with headseeker, the latter is something with exploding payload). I might not be right in the head according to this vid based on these picks, but at the end of the day, they usually getting the job done (not really fond of pvp, but I'm doing it for the bright dust/cosmetic stuff). For PvP, Pulse Rifles are always my favorite because bursts are just the best (feeling) in every game. For PvE (which is my main gamemode) I loveeee bows. There's so much variety, as well. I can destroy everything with Wish Ender, have fun with stasis crystals with Verglas Curve, and the new Wish-Keeper got me to view strand in a completely different way and fall in love with the subclass.

Actually, as a scout main in PvP, most people don't know how to handle being shot by the full auto veist scouts from a LONG time ago and either keep charging you, freeze to look at you, or immediately vacate whatever lane you're holding and never return without back-up.

-The only auto rifle I use, which I main in PVE and PVP, is the Krait. Love the feel of the impact, the satisfying strike on enemies, and the 62 round magazine. Also helps when I manage to get precision kills and spawn a crystal in the middle of enemies :D -Second is an SMG, though its only for if I remember it's faster to switch to than reload the rifle, which is rare. I use the funnelweb (or what ever its called) as the fire rate is absurd for what I found, with a decent ammo capacity near 30 rounds and okay impact damage. -My last is almost always a sword or machine gun, though its usually not something I prioritize getting ammo for in PVP or saving much ammo for the boss in PVE lol.

This is insanely accurate. 48yo truck driver here, Dad of 3, gaming history really only includes 3 titles, Halo series (starting with the original on release), various CODs and now D2 on PC all with controller. My go to is a crafted Piece of Mind with a Fiortuna. No exotic weapons actually. Quite fun and effective. I don't really like PVP builds that i have to wait for something to proc before my exotic perks kick in. I use Wormhusk as a nightstalker simply to increase survivability and keep me in the fight longer and then for me it's just, is my movement and gunplay better than you.
