I remember finding one cabinet for this game in a school trip to an amusement park decades ago. I spent quite the money playing it. Despite being so long ago I never forgot the game. I loved it ❤

What if in an alternate timeline, Sonic was a console-exclusive series in the 1990s? And if SegaSonic and Fighters were Genesis and Saturn-exclusives respectively?

The SegaSonic games would fade into obscurity, and probably be part of some kind of subscription, like Sonic Eraser. Sonic the Fighters would probably be a little more well known, but not too much.

They should have released this on saturn or dreamcast

I agree, but I don't think the Saturn could've handled it. They could've released it on the Dreamcast, but it only should've been a port, not the main release. It makes much more sense as an arcade game.

This guy don't know what he's talking abt. Saturn has a Fighting Vipers port, & STF is essentially just a mod of Fighting Vipers. So a Saturn can handle the game.

Oh. I kinda figured the Saturn wasn't super powerful considering how low poly the Sonic games are. I guess the game could work...

Just wanna know, but is there a pattern in what way you cover each sonic game? Like are these getting newer and newer and as we go up you cover things like adventure 1 to adventure 2 to heroes?

So, I'm reviewing every Sonic game in order, starting with Sonic 1, and ending at SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS. I (try to) play them in order of release. Almost every game is included except for collections, mobile games, and arcade games. Also, I'm not including Sonic Free Riders because I don't have the necesarry equipment. I hopw that answers your question.

Yeah, but I've never played Tekken. Although I guess this game is more comparable to Mortal Kombat, or even Street Fighters.

Actually is more like Smash Melee is the way how the pro players actually play. Players like MysticNoodle,K.O.S.,Polymath and more in the community tournaments are the beasts.
